Desiccant - Where?
    #2009109 - 10/14/03 07:44 PM (13 years, 11 months ago)

I usually got Damp Rid at Walmart, but I can find it anymore. Where else can I find desiccant?

Lowes and Homedepot would have it. They're on the same shelf where cleaning product are. Comes in white/blue plasic bucket.

Silica Gel cat litter is a good desiccant also. Found in most grocery stores.

I bake epsom salt in a casserole dish for 40 mins at 450 degrees. It turns white and powdery. Wait for it to cool completely and them break it up. A big box of salt costs like two bucks.

Check your grocery store. I stumbled upon some refill cartons by accident.

It's like the old paper half gallon milk carton for $3.

Home depot would definitely have it, too. Ask in the paint dept.

Checked Home Depot, and they didn't have it!

That epsom salts that Superbad mentioned can be found in nearly any drug store.

A while back I found a few places on the net that sold big buckets of calcium chloride pretty cheap. I ended up finding it in the grocery store for a few bucks so never bought the bucket.

Do a google search for calcium chloride or PM me and I'll find the link. I know I saved it.
