Nice and big Armillariella fruiting (w/pics)

Driving home from work yesterday I spotted this giant patch of ringed honey mushrooms on the top of a ditch. I had to stop and get pics. There must had been some ditch work and some digging that cultivated such a large patch. Its was a nice sight, I didn't pick much, most were past their prime.

i need a digicam. i find soo many of these each year.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

I think I saw the exact same mushrooms on campus today when I was driving back. I'll go check them out later tonight when I go visit my girly I'm hoping that the mushrooms are really Gyms or even Jack-o-lanterns.... I'd love to get some pics of the flouresing gills.

LK: i am guessing that grassy area was clearcut and once sported more trees. might i be correct?
