Oh yeah will do.
From what I've seen with my own eye is that all cubes visually appear the same in my opinion except I've noticed that Mexicans pin caps are more red than others, but mature to the same light golden caps as just about any other.

(pasty) u will hopefully end up with enough varieties and troll the forum enough to see the differences btw varieties or lack thereof. hopefully somewhere along the line u will get bored of the cube varieties and move on to new species. they are all cool tho for sure, and as u may read, some have their own little unique history. environment (fae, Rh, and light) can all play important roles in macroscopic appearance too. a b+ outdoor will look different than a b+ indoor.

Haha, sorry I'm new to forum structure, I've generally avoided this place for obvious reasons I see who pasty is now xD
Yeah those pics were spot on
And yeah you're right, cubes do get boring fast. Need new species to study, that's why I'm here haha I love the learning curve, and I'm over plain ol cubes

well hopefully u will search around, read some threads, make some posts and give and get advice the whole time. thats what i did. share what u know, learn what u don't know. by then, u will have WAY more than the required post count needed for the marketplace forum, and even more info to back up any grows that come after the fact. shroomery is awesome for that reason!

Word, thanks for the positivity! And super quick responses. I guess ill search around and ask some qs and maybe drop some knowledge, I'm no expert, by any means - but I got a few years notched in my belt
I don't know where to start though, lmao

Hey everyone I am awfully new to the site let alone shrooms I was just in the process of ordering my grow kit off of midwestgrowkits.com and my spores from Ralph, Is Midwest legit? Not the main thing I was here for though, can the substrate jars be reused with same material? Also after once I put them in the humidifier do I take them out of there or just the tops off and they grow in the jar..? 3 more things.. What's the most ml from a syringe spore I could use in a jar? And last but most important, can you grow the different cubensis strains in the same box? Not using the same soil obvs but I was thinking since I'll have about 5 different cubensis strains I was hoping it'd be fine to grow them all at once in the same area very last thing, is it fine to order for me? I live in canada and it's just turning into summer I was hoping they don't fault as I have read in other forums that they deactivate or something in decently warm weather.. Thanks for taking the time to read this I hope some of you can take the time out of your days to pm me or reply to this or whatever you have to do to help me out with some tips!

Don't use Ralph he's not a sponsor here anymore for a reason. Use a sponsor. I used ralph cause I wanted a Canadian vendor, it was a big mistake. Second don't waste your money on a kit. They can work but its far cheaper to do it yourself and you can be sure its done right. Its pretty easy to do yourself as well. Just do lots of reading and you'll be fine.
Welcome to the shroomery

The mods will drive splints under your toenails if you mention vendors, even if they are sponsors, cause you know, nobody here actually does anything with spores except examine them under microscopes, and that's all they're sold for, SFAIK. Last syringe I got (from NAMELESS my favorite vendor) came with a cool microscope slide kit to do that very thing with. Mentioning vendors that AREN'T sponsors gets some kind of alien implant or something, last I heard. And talking about grow kits, you don't wanna know, 'cause let me see...oh yeah, way too expensive. Other then that, hey welcome to shroomery, home of 10000000 opinions and all of them right. So here's some:
Substrate jars are spent after being used, that's the whole point. You'll need fresh sub for the next go round.
Growing in the jar is like 80's tek but I guess some people do it. Not very efficient though.
You only need a cc or less per quart jar sub, IME. There are countless spores in that much.
Grow strains in the same area, no problem.
Cubes love heat, up to 85 F or so. Beyond that growth slows down, go too high and they get thermal shock.

Midwest is not legit. Don't use Midwest. It's a ripoff. In fact, don't get a grow kit from anywhere. Before you do anything else, go to the link in my sig for the Let's Grow Mushrooms videos. Download them and watch the PF tek vids in their entirety before you do anything else. Then get yourself some Home Depot and Bed Bath and Beyond (or whatever equivalents) coupons and go to town on supplies. You can find everything you need there (besides spores). Go to the Shroomery sponsors as well.
You don't need any pre-made jars. I got roped into Midwest the first time, and when you open the box, you'll find a bunch of cheap shit you could've gotten for much less if you would've just collected the supplies yourself. Their "tips and tricks the others don't want you to know" is a bunch of bad and/or outdated info. Watch the videos, follow the directions to the letter, and you'll have mushrooms. Good luck!
PS: If you have any questions about either of the companies you've mentioned, pm me and I'll let you know about my experiences with both.
PPS: If you've already purchased a kit, return it.

My first sporeprint came in a kit that I bought for $60 way back in 1992. It was one of the old homestead kits. They guy selling it had a little store called "Bat Magic" along some back road in the middle of nowhere. He sold grow lights and cabinets, and, his flagship product, bat guano he had harvested himself from a local cave.
That place was cool as fuck. The guy got busted a few months later for selling weed out of the store. He was almost always smoking a joint, and would hold it down under the counter whenever someone would walk in.
That guy was just way ahead of his time.

Hey guys what's up? I'm about to place an order today and was thinking about PE uncut. I'm new around here but have a good amount of experience with cubes and just got into pans and Tamps so what I'm saying is I don't want to hear a cubes a cube. PE, PEU and APE are what I'm trying to choose between. Any suggestions?

use the market place and maybe u can just trade instead of paying. i never grew any of those tho, so couldn't say. i hate eating stems, so i just tend towards the other varieties

I love my APE but agar is definitely recommended. APE are not really noted for big yields either. Go with them if ya want the weirdest looking fruits possible but if you hoping for good yeilds and fruit size go for PE.
I am sure that I will eventually find some genetics that produce a good size fruit but so far I'm still looking.

Thanks guys, I may go for for the regular PE unless someone else has had a good experience with PEU. I like goin to agar first to ensure cleanliness and have done some cloning but I'm not really wanting to have to go thru all of that for a decent yield so APE is out.
