chlorophyll in substrate?

Hey i was thinking the other day someone asked if you can use grass for a bulk substrate, and indeed you can, but must be dried.
I was thinking, i have a bunch of dry grass but green, that means it still have chlorophyll, but it is dry...
Is there any inconvenient using green dry grass? or why is better yellow dry grass?
I mean chlorophyll is a good thing? isn't it?
Actually i've seen that chlorophyll have a lot of minerals and vitamins! But i don't know it could be a natural fungicide too? but i guess it doesn't matter cause fungicides just kill the spores not the myc.

I think the idea is more that you want it to be dried, with all the easily available sugars already consumed. The only mineral in chlorophyll is Magnesium, but since very few organisms perform fission as part of their metabolism, all the magnesium that was part of the chlorophyll is still present.
Too many available sugars invites fungal contamination during the spawn run.

Yeah well i already got a response in a journal from a buddy, i know it can be donned no matter if is green/dry or yellow/dry. Is not that... I just want to know if chlorophyll have a positive or negative effect. The response from van der griegen is an answer similar what i want to hear, but more opinions from others would be nice to hear as well.

Well i saw in other place that have vitamins, and more minerals
Also can you explain wth is fission (and fusion, because there is always a fusion) in metabolism?
So chlorophyll is sugar? lol

Yeah but what about if we give chlorophyll as a supplement to a substrate? I know maybe it sounds stupid and perhaps RR will tell us
This is not the Plant kingdom, it wont work!
But does anybody tried it before?

I dont believe it would make a difference as the hypae only care about metabolizing dead or dying organic manner. I mean they grow on dead decaying trees so I i believe grass would work, how well who knows.
And chlorophyll is just the chemical that makes plants green which helps with photosynthesis.
I say see what happens.

you are wrong, fungi can exploit and benefit from non organic matter also.

its used for nitrogen i think (seaweed) and also has high tryptophan content (or psilocybin precursor), and as RR would say, is good "for those who believe substrate nutrients make a difference in potency" I've never seen him comment on chlorophyll alone tho as an additive.

I never said they couldnt, my response pertained to speaking on dry grass.
When grass is dry its usually dead or dying.

You clearly said grind1, no offense. Gypsum is not dead or organic. neither vermiculite. When you said "care" you are saying kinda like it only benefit from organic matter. I can assure it care when you add gypsum.
