Stop of 18.78 suggested earlier got violated by a couple of pennies.  Close at 19.  Ths chart doesn't look promising, and I am not declaring the bottom after getting "stopped out" today even though I am just another silver bag holder among many.

I think I sold AAPL a tad early at 14 pre-split.  800 shares x 2 = 1600 x 626 = a fucking lot.  Was so thrilled because I made 3200 when it went up from 10 to 14.  Oh well..

its not too late, a big push is coming for techs...  but be ready for the influx when it happens too lol  this thing is not perfectly balanced you know   and I DO know that you know.  Kinda hard to pull the trigger sometimes, but I think we get wiser with age

The stock market and in particular many of these techs are so overvalued as it is, you'd have to be on drugs to think it represents a good value.  I don't get that one.  There's a reason it should be hard to buy NFLX at whatever ridiculous price it is.  Because it's freaking ridiculous.  Or AMZN.  Sure.  Some year we'll make money.  What a joke.

I won't disagree that MOST of the techs are extremely overpriced, but some are poised to blow.  Lots of activity behind the scenes, stuff you can't see on the ticker tape lol

but you can make as much as you want to spend, either way

Not sure how we got off on tech stocks in my price of silver thread, but all good.  You are right, always new technology and stocks to invest in that will do well.  Unfortunately, unless one is in the know it is fraught with risk.

The takeover binge has started in earnest, perhaps that would be a place to look at if one could figure out long before the rumor who is a likely prospect.

As for silver, we are at fresh yearly and over three year lows and it ain't looking good.  19 would appear to now be resistance, and we have to go so far back to see prices like this it's hard to say where support is.

Almost another month goes by and the silver action has been interesting, particularly the past couple of days.

The recent test of 19 passed although dipped just below 19 briefly.

20 is still resistance, and in fact 19.75 has failed twice this week.

What is a bit telling is how fast it tested and failed at that level.  What it tells me, is that there is buying pressure, but someone (JPM?) really doesn't want to let it get over 20, so they whack it back down at 19.75.  Big fast move up, big fast whack down.

The 200 day moving average has finally leveled out which is at least a positive sign.  It's now around 21.

We have built a big base over quite some time.  I am calling this recent test below 19 a bottom, and consider buying at this level prudent with stops at 18.78 if trading.  Should we actually go above 20, a quick shot up to test the 200 day ma at 21 ish will likely then fail.

And here we are at 20.88, after hitting 21, and near the 200 day ma.  When 19.75 area was vacated, the bounce of a buck was a quick shot as predicted.  Did it that day.

I think we fail shortly on silver.  We may get a 30 cent overshoot at 21.20 area but the 200 ma represents a "lower high" in a big bear market.  Support is now at 19.80 area.

21 and some change this morning. I imagine if it hits 23 by Friday it's either 18 on Monday or 25 and sky's the limit.

Look at the one year chart.  Failure at or before 21.20, support at 19.80.

Where does "sky's the limit" play into it?

We could see $18-$24 for many years.

Would you pay $50 for silver?

What is the investment strategy and more important, plan.

Are people just hoping to hit the Ag Lottery?

I called the resistance nearly to the penny.  It hit 21.18 then dropped all the way to 20.65, bounced all the way to 21.12.  Then failed again, last price 20.74.

It's why I love this thread. Thank you much for your contributions.

I'd love to hit the Ag lottery sure. I've been collecting coins since before I could ride a bike. It's addicting. A lot of the silver I bought around six (or was it eight?) got sold at 35/oz on average so not that bad of an investment.

Right now as it stands I'm trying to keep money off the books and tuck it away for my wife if she ever needs it when I die.

I'm still collecting though. Got my 1879-O Morgan in ms-69 the other day so I'm happy for now.

There's a "scuff" which to me is half a millimeter or shorter around the inside of the rim, kind of along side it, can only see it when you tilt it down and away from you. It's hardly noticeable; Can only really see it under 20x. But hey, pcgs is pcgs for a reason ya kno?

Literally hit 21.205 today and failed yet again at that level.  Support short term has held a few times at 20.65.  Last price 20.97...

Update.  After failing a few more times at 21.20 area, silver finally broke through that resistance today with a fast move up to almost 21.60.  Resistance now at 22.  Not sure if 21.20 really deserves a support category so I will stick with 20.65 for now.

The 200 day moving average continues to actually drop and has been crossed by the 50 day ma.
