Does anyone know of a good tutorial on the indoor cultivation of this strain?
Thanks!

There almost is none... You have to be a VERY experienced cultivator for being able to grow Azures indoor for you need to know EXACTLY what you are doing. You need to be, or at least know a hobby engeneer for building fridges that can heat between 7 and 15°C and that have a glass door for enough light to get in an, and, and...

I've put very little thought into this, but thought nonetheless.
Everything I've read says that they are hard to cultivate in a lab (or home) mostly due to the symbiotic relationship the mycelium shares with the trees they grow around..
What I'm thinking about is finding a way to grow them WITH a host tree potted indoors. What I don't know is if the tree has to be mature enough to support the azure myc, and if it would be too mature at that time to live indoors. It would have to be in a pretty big, well-lit room. It would be pretty cool, but prolly rather impractical.
Wait.. Am I thinking of the right species?
http://www.erowid.org/plants/mushrooms/mushrooms_cultivation_az1.shtml That shows an OUTDOOR grow, but makes no mention of the mycorrhizal relationships..
I'm more confused than usual now.. Someone enlighten me.

Yep.. I was way off..
Azures are just wood lovers.
I was thinking of A. Muscaria
(pothead)
'Search Posts' lotta hits.
Edit: The last few links on the page I linked to up there ARE indoor grows.. So I guess thats what your looking for. Now for some thread-jacking: How much more potent are azures? They don't look like they're very prolific at all.

I read (on a post) the other day that you inoculate them into rye berries, and then spawn that to wood chips. (sounds like a still-air glove box wouldn't be a bad idea)
After that you can spawn the chips to an outdoor mulch/woodchip bed.
As far as indoors; it must be similar, but I have NO idea. Hope my post can at least let you get started.
Try a search of this site.

although i don't know shit about growing, this is probably the most potent strain, and due to life's little ironies, that alone is probably going to make them the hardest to cultivate. depending on where you live, you'd probably be better off making an outdoor bed. mad props if you succeed

I remember a couple years ago reading about someone who was able to fruit them in a modified refridgerator. Wish I could give more info, but I was new at the time and didn't realize how important the info was.

Well, I don't imagine you would need some sort of fridge engineer to manage a temperature of 5-10C with a see through door.... I mean, why not just use a wine cooler. I bought one for 75 bucks at Costco.. Anyways, I have a bed of fully colonized wood chips (maple I believe) with Psilocybe Cyanescens.. I colonized grain mixed with chips at room temperature (74F) from a liquid culture (honey/water).. Now they're in the wine cooler (with two holes drilled in it, one at the top, one at the bottom).. I think I had the humidity a bit low, but I'm hoping I solved that problem.. Anyways, no sign of pins yet, but it's only been two weeks.
