Maybe re-case them and fruit in open air, misting throughout the day.

So, Recase them, and keep the lid off and just mist them often? don't i need to worry about contams?

Yea the ones that are mostly colonized I would put a light casing on, like 1/4" and the one that looks all dark still maybe just let hat one ride.
Yo don't have to worry about contams now that they're colonized and plus when you fan they get plenty of contam spores from the air.
What's your casing layer?

Casing is a Brick of Coco Coir and 2 quarts of Vermiculite, By letting them fruit in open air, how would i keep it humid? just by misting it often? once these are done and i get a good enough yield i'll be able to upgrade to a SGFC

So basically for the SGFC I just need Perlite? I already got the big container lol

that sounds more like a bulk sub. did you mix this up with the grains? You should have let that colonize to 100% and then add a casing layer of peat or jiffy mix if you want to.
it looks bacterial at best to me, how long has it been in fruiting conditions?

it's only been fruiting for 4 days, It's definitely not bacterial. i had a buddy say it was healthy mycelium. and I did let it get to 100% before i cased it
So i can afford the perlite, and i already have the container, Do i really need to recase it? is not recasing it going to effect it?

You don't have to re case especially if your going with a SGFC, but that tub you have will be too short or do you have a different one?
I was only saying to re case if you fruit in open air because you want to keep your sub moist but you could probably even get away without it there too.

That case is bigger then it looks, it's about as big as the one on the pftek #3 video, wondering why spacechildo says it looks bacterial to him? what would I be missing if it had bacteria? it's just very fluffy white mycelium no discolorations or anything

I guess it's just the pic then cuz it looks like there's only a few inches above the trays, you'll need about 4 inches of perlite so keep that in mind.
I really couldn't tell you man about the bacteria I can't see them very well but bacteria isn't always completely nasty looking sometimes it'll just look a little off.
When you have bacteria in a jar the mycelium gets a creamy look like ice cream but I don't know how it looks on a luck sub, probably still thick and creamy like I'd imagine.
Also bacteria isn't the end of the word if you did have it things will still fruit usually they are just more susceptible to contams.

ah ok, sounds good. yeah the tub is quite tall. I've compared the looks of mycelium to as many successful pictures, it all looks good to me. so i'll run out and get some perlite tomorrow and get that all situated and i'll post some more pictures, thank you for your help.

I just checked out
http://www.shroomery.org/5276/What-are-common-contaminants-of-the-mushroom-culture
I don't see anything that matches any bacteria that would be growing inside mine.. cobweb is out of the question.. it's to white, and cottony and fluffy

if you added a top/casing layer of coir that might be why the growth look thick and weird in some places. are you fruiting them in a plastic container now for 4 days? with no holes? I thought they were still colonizing the bulk sub when I said it looked bacterial. I'm still thinking it might be, at least the last 2 close up pics, but its not the end of the world as said.
you really need a sgfc to fruit those trays in so get drilling and make it to specs, no thinking on your own now!

yeah they have been fruiting for 4 days in a container, the only air they got was when i opened it and fanned it 3 times a day.. I'm gonna try to take some better pictures here in a few minutes. I don't see any signs of Cobweb or Trichoderma, it's to fluffy to be Trichoderma

Ok I had my friend take better pictures with a better camera.. once again everything is Fluffy and White some of it even Ropey. over a Coir/Verm mix casing, in a container with no air flow but 3 waves a day, and tomorrow i'm going out to get perlite and make the SGFC and will post more pics after.
