I know this is turning into a nut all over the Heat but one last thing. Coach Spo sure does use a fuckton of different line-ups very effectively, doesn't he? He's a sharp little fucker.

He's Pat Riely's little protege man. He might be young but he's been learning from one of the best for close to 20 years now. It's crazy that he's the longest reigning coach in the Eastern Conference right now at 6 years.

I liked last night's line up and playing time changes for the match ups against the Pacers.
Especially the extended minutes given to Birdman and Cole.

I think Miami take a PG in the draft this year, make Cole the starter, and trade Chalmers away for a decent backup 2 or 3 guard. Maybe a couple draft picks. Chalmers is taking up too much cap space, and I really don't think he's particularly great at anything. Just decent in all areas.

I just turned the game off magicman.

What a joke of a series so far. 2 minutes into the 4th and OKC is down by 30 points.

Looks like Spurs vs Heat again this year. Regardless of a lot of teams that surprised me by making the playoffs this year and playing very well, it still came down to the teams every analyst picked to be in the finals.

I really thought the West was going to be more contested. I can't wait to go to the game on Saturday. I hope the heat play like they did last night.

I want to address your speculation regarding Chalmers future. I think the Heat will want to keep him. He's a good bargain and I think LeBron really likes him. I don't know about his contract or free agency or whatever but I think if he left the Heat it would be his choice to make more money elsewhere.

It seems that from interviews and locker room footage that Lebron and Wade do really like him as a team mate. They took him under their wings and treated him like a younger brother since the day he came down here. So you're probably right about LBJ wanting him to stay.

He's been making 4 mil a year since he was drafted but he becomes an unrestricted free agent after this season. I haven't heard of any contract negotiations with him for next year, so unless he's willing to keep earning about the same as his rookie salary, I'm pretty sure there'll be a lot of teams out there offering him a lot more money.

Honestly in a spurs v heat final I'd love to see a slug fest. Would love to see the big 3 of the spurs win another ring before they retire. They have to be the most consistent players of all time. Hoping for a great final and I think it would be the best match up.

I used to hate the Spurs because they played so boring. With Leonard and Green in the mix, these last couple years they have grown on me.

Boring but consistent solid ball. They've been in the mix and always a threat for a grip. I hope they get hyped up for another and finish their career with what they really deserve. Consistent year after year. For what a decade?  Props.

ESPN is saying the jazz are going to try and move up to get Parker or Wiggins.

What players do you think the Jazz would need to trade away for a top 3 pick?

They already traded away all their stars this past season, but if it means giving up the whole team to start re-building around a potential future superstar such as Parker or Wiggins, it's worth a shot.

The Jazz don't really have anything to lose by doing this. If I was a Jazz fan, I'd be excited about the prospect of getting a top 3 pick to build the future around.

They have a ton of cap space so they could just take some teams deadweight.

I don’t know really know though. They also have Enes Kanter who i don’t think they would be willing to part with, but he will never develop so they should get something out of him before other teams realize this.  Also Hayward, he had a bad year cuz he was the #1 scorer but he is one of the better swingmen in the game right now, and would get a lot of attention.

Jazz will be fine though. Lots of young talent. Trey Burke is the real deal, as is Derrick Favors, and Alec Burks is the most underrated scorer in the league, like a young Dwade.

A little consistency, more defensive presence, and a solid coach and they will be back. Karl Malone and Jerry Sloan are both on the coaching staff, and John Stockton is the main candidate for the new coach so there is that....

Oh and Favors will be one of if not the best big man in the league in 5 years, mark my words.

Isn't the commissioner going to have to at least say something about this Phil Jackson and Jeanie Buss situation. The six Buss kids got equal shares, but Jeanie is the managing partner. If Phil  marries her he some portion of Lakers ownership while he runs the Knicks. Maybe Jeanie has to get Phil to sign a prenuptial agreement, or maybe they just have to stay engaged.
