interesting, but over 30 years old.

edit: the guy that wrote it is an idiot too.

"steal stuff" is a pretty shitty way to get by living for "free", even if you've got a bullshit marxist ideology that say it's ok.

... and people wonder why the 60's-70's counterculture fell apart.

I want to just "live in the moment" for awhile too. Just see how it is, where I end up, who I meet, etc. I think it would be a good thing for people to try.

I wouldn't say hoffman was an idiot, I mean he was a very controversial figure, but I don't think he was in anyway unintelligent. I personally am somewhat of a fan of his. Anyone who was as hated by the FBI as him is alright in my book. I mean they had several thousand pages on him in their records...they're "free to the public" through the freedom of information act now, but almost half of their content is marked out and many pages are not released for whatever reason..

I mean really I don't agree with all of his actions or anything, but I really think his intentions were good...he was just trying to stir the world up a little and show everyone how much bullshit there is out there, especially in the government. I especially dig some of his more comedic actions....starting chaos at the new york stock exchange by dropping hundreds of one dollar bills on the bidding floor, and I don't see a damn thing wrong with sending thousands of joints to random people as valentines gifts...

Whatever your opinion of him and his philosophy is, I don't think it's fair to say he was an idiot.

Peace amd Much Love
