from sight i'd say it has more ornamental than ethnobotanical potencial.
actually it looks poisonous, i'm not really sure why.

its really not tall... it is about 4 inches abov the soil and hangs down over the and under the pot, covering it, for aout 5 inches

They're just landscape plants it looks like, nothing special.. not a snap dragon, though the flowers look somewhat similar. I'll see if i can't find out the name, i have several landscape specimen books.
