Room is devoid of plants
    #2001008 - 10/11/03 09:00 PM (13 years, 2 months ago)

During the end of summer I incorrectly thought I would have 3 hours of direct sunlight in my room, but I forgot to account for winter, the tilt and whatnot. So all I have to work with is diffused light.. Am I SOL for growing any entheogens? I would like some in my room. And if there are no entheogens that would like to live here, are there any low-maintanence plants I should grow?

Thanks much,
rl

enthogen=pot?? you can't grow pot w/ three hours of direct sunlight if that's what you are asking

You're definitely not SOL. There are plenty of entheogens that prefer only partial sunlight. Cacti comes to mind, as does Salvia.

No, entheogen = "to induce god"...it refers to the plants that do so.

Ah, well partial sunlight is still no. Maybe an hour a day in 1 spot only. Diffused light everywhere else.

I was under the impression that diffused light and partial sunlight were the same thing. Are the walls in your room painted flat white?

You are right, my wording is fuct. I thought 'partial sunlight' meant very little direct sunlight. No, my walls are some sort of off white. Since you say there are alot of entheogens that will like it here, I will do some searching. Thanks~

Off-white will do just fine. There are definitely plenty of entheogens/ethnobotanicals that meet your criteria...good luck with your growing endeavor!
