Yes u can dry them with a fan. Although i reccomend splitting them in half to make sure they dry completly(or at least close enough) and to speed up the process. My shrooms have drid out just sitting on a piece of paper for long enough while waiting for room in my dryer. If you have a hardware store around your house i am sure they would have a dessicant. I cant find damp rid either so i got this fan that points straight up and put the little guys in a strawberry basket and set that right on top of the fan. It worked pretty good the 2 days they were on there put i ended up eating them. theyre better fresh anyways. ive been told to go to kmart or something similar to get dessicant (damprid). They said it was in the laundry detergent area. I can't find any at my hardware stores or paint shops.

see my post in your other thread for where to get a good dessicant in Canada. Fan drying should be used first to remove more than 90% of the moisture. Then place in a drying chamber with the dessicant to remove the final 10% and for storage.

fan drying alone works prett decent until high humidity enters the picture.
then dry in front of an air conditioner for better results.
fans leave enoughmoisture that freezing them is not advisable. jst refridgerate.
anoter good dessicant that is easy to find is silica gel, used for drying lower arrangements, available at walmart, hobby lobby, etc. in crafts section.
