ahh come on shifting  :stoned: I fully support deepblue and jtrypt as moderators as they are both knowledgeable individuals who have contributed to the Shroomery community.

They both:

- destroy misinformation
- have alot of psychedelic experience under their belts
- always around the forums to get the job done
- well-known
- seem quite fair and friendly
- have high shroom ratings
- and help out those in need.

No nonsense, no games from these two. Everything we need in moderators is held by both deepblue and jtrypt :thumbup:

Despite my lack of tenure here, I have been researching psychedelics intimately and academically for 5 years. Strengths include: mush cult knowledge, experiences with morning glory, hbwr, mushrooms, syrian rue, mdma, dxm, n20, lsd, 2c-i, 5-meo-dmt, and salvia, well versed in Mckenna, Schultes, Leary, etc., experience supervising sessions (first time usage), good research abilities, and the desire to prevent misinformation from spreading, not only to "them" but within "us". Weaknesses include: inability to ingest substances in public, inability to be casual about drugs, lack of experience with the tropane alkaloids, ketamine, mescaline and the majority of RC's. I have written many papers on my experiences and subsequent conclusions drawn from said experiences, and would be more than happy to type them up at your request. (Some are lengthy). Also, I have experienced a phenomenon on psilocybin which includes passing out, but subjectively is similar to smoked DMT. I would love to discuss this more, as I know some people have also passed out on mush, but didnt describe the subjective effects. Overall, I am currently looking to settle my life down into prioritized groups, Income, Psychedelic Research, Spare time. This position as mod would help me feel more fulfilled and satisfied in my day to day life, as I love sharing my knowledge and gaining new insight. Thanks for the time.

I have a very free schedule. I'm an experienced teacher, tripper, and guide. I enjoy helping newbies AND n00bs alike (especially while others are pointing them to the FAQ and the Search function). I'm particularly sympathetic to the impatience and doubt everyone experiences during their first grow, or their first day on a new forum. I'm fair, I listen and I'm not afraid to admit I'm wrong.

If I become a mod, my friend, Don Quixote, will also contribute. If you're not sure you've met Don Quixote, you haven't met him... you'd remember DQ.

That?s two mods for the price of ONE... Free! Well, Don's pretty big so really, that?s more like two and a half mods for the price of one. What a value!

Geo, someone out there pointed me in your direction. I'd be thrilled to help this site. You'll see a lot more of me... now that I know where you are.

You may say its ridiculous for me to even apply to Moderate a forum after only being a member for a few days...and I'd probably have to agree with you. But it is an eventual goal of mine, and if this serves no other purpose than to at least get my name out there then I'm satisfied.

My worst quality:
In all honesty I would have to say my worst quality is my obsession with cats...which is weird, considering I don't even own one. And maybe that I'm lazy towards doing things I'm not interested in. But on the reverse if I enjoy what I'm doing then I'll devote most of my time to it.

How much time I spend here:
Easily six hours a day, usually more. I have been a member of many message boards in the past, and generally check them at least ten times a day...but I do have a life, I swear.

What I can bring to this forum:
I have a broad knowledge of a variety of subjects, either due to personal experience or the experiences of very close friends. I consider myself open-minded and helpful, and have no problem taking the time to help those new at whatever they are doing. I enjoy what I do, and regardless of the outcome of this intend to make the Shroomery message boards a big part of my life. And just because I haven't been a member of this specific message board very long does not make my knowledge any less valuable.

That's about it, and good luck to everyone else.
