When the libs can't dispute something, they go straight to personal attacks or some other nonsense. Its funny how predictable they are.

We should feel sorry for them, they are stuck with a dud who they have to support. They know he's a dud, they dont really like him but he's a dem so what can they do? They are stuck in the 'the other guy is worse' mindset. They feel vaguely uncomfortable, they know they've been had but they will never admit it. Clear thinkers know both d and r are a scam and support third parties. LIbtards get told "don't waste your vote" so they don't vote. Participation has dropped to historic low levels and keeps falling.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.” (attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville political philosopher Circa 1835)

Probably far more than we agree.

Still, it is rare to see a sycophant as firmly loyal as Solo is to stoney.  They even get banned together.

I don't think there is a single poster on the Shroomery that champions Obama, or even considers him a good president.

I think the real issue is that it bothers you that us "liberals," on this forum, but in the nation as a whole (as indicated by polling numbers), AREN'T blindly approving his every move.

Which is something most conservatives did for 8 years under Bush, and some here even still believe some of his worst blunders (war crimes) were/are merited.

As much as you wish you could tear into someone here for liking Obama, I'm afraid nobody does.

Yea, conservatives definitely aren't predictable...

Enlil is still buttsore that it was pointed out one or two were following his threads and agreeing with whatever he said a while back. He is extremely imitative and whatever is said to him is always said back to the person who said it. Highly predictable as i mentioned.

Enlil is an unemotional robotlike personality which follows certain rules. I'm trying to decide if he is a real person, a bit damaged, or a computer program imitating a person? They have done amazing things with AI and if those types of trolls are not present already, they soon will be. My original theory was that en was an aspergers doing the best he can. They tend to have very limited emotional abilities so it could be. But the computer program is still a real possibility too.

I am conservative about finances, but liberal about personal freedom and use common sense in all other situations. I've noticed the liberals are against personal freedom, they want uniformity of speech, conduct, and everything else. They tend to gravitate toward a fascist type of rulership. Obummer ruling by decree and making signing statements is just fine with them. They don't mind being spied on, emails read and so on. Someone's statements made in private being used against them is fine if they violated political correctness. We have seen many examples of this mindset.

The only emotion, more or less, that i've seen out of the enlil persona is anger which is carefully directed and really too calculated to qualify as a true emotion. "He" can fake some things but when it comes to humor, for example, he has no clue at all. I've said totally nonsense things that any normal person would instantly see were a joke and he could only reply logically "where is your proof?". Splitting hairs, and generally weaseling around come naturally since those things comport to logic which can easily be programmed.

He was probably programmed by a group, no doubt a university group since they programmed in extreme liberalism. Law can be easily accessed and referenced, makes a good cover. He probably goes on automatic most of the time and sends out a distress signal when he gets confused so an operator can come in and make a decision for the enlil personality.

The simpler explanation is that en is just an aspergers but its intriguing to explore the possibility that we are dealing with a computer. Probably he had people directing or proofreading a lot of his responses in the beginning and then let him go more and more on his own. In the future, there will be no way to distinguish between a human and robot on the net. We already have cars that drive themselves, its not much of a stretch. They will establish themselves, post photos of projects, reply to others and then when the time is right, they will tout a scam site or knock a competitor. There is no reason a computer couldn't handle dozens of personalities, maybe hundreds at a time.
