It's become the first moving desktop wallpaper I've ever had.

thought the same thing. Im just guessing now: Does my eye try to align identical colours on each circle, and so when I focus it turns the whole thing?

your eyes are always moving even when you're focused on something stationary, because of this you see the shit in your peripheral vision moving.

I've been playing with the image in photoshop.
If you change the colors too much or darken the background too much, it stops moving.

That's a little easier on the eyes. I'll keep working but I won't be able to upload another for 24 hours.

Seuss, I'd think the LSDSpiral is much more wilder... and the thing is you aren't looking at images... you look at your hand it's almost morphing for a good 20-30 seconds or so... walls are waving... it's crazy. http://www.thedrugsindex.org/thedrugsindex/downloads/lsdspiral.zip <-- Click there to download it... I believe it will only work for windows users... perhaps you nix people can use wine but the last time I did it didn't work out so well. :P

I saw that thing for the first time on a Magic Show aired on the Fox network in the mid to late ?90s. They had a giant disc and spun it then zoomed in and played it on the television for a good 30 seconds - it really tripped me out
Here?s another strange thingy

Wow that lsdspiral thing is wild! When I was first looking at I thought a spining spiral hmmm... what the big deal. Until I looked away from the screen and everything is breathing just like it would on a acid trip. What a trip. thanks for the great link.
