Thanks you for being there

Hey,
I'll admit, lately I've had a problem with freebasing coke. I'd rather not talk about it, I feel I'm getting it under control. The problem is not so much addiction, but that I give in whenever it's offered. It's also creating alot of money problems for me. But I wanted to post this, just to say that I think this forum is a great idea, and that's it's awsome that you guys are willing to help people like me that can admit they have a problem. Thanks again.

Shea.

Admitting is the first step, bro

tell 'em you're not doing any until next year, then none until 2012

Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.

I went and did it again last night. Alot....... But I didn't spend any money, and I feel just fine now. So I guess all is okay. But I'm going to hold off for at least a month now. Or at least I'll try....

you can do it man. Don't let the coke control your life man you have to control the coke. I've never done it before and im not planning on doing it. So I'm not sure how hard the addiction is. But just remember your the only one that can make your self do it, so if friends or what ever try to pressure you into doing it just leave. Thats all I have to say.

i have never free based it, but ive been known to snort more than my fair share. this addiction is tough. thankfully i never got really heavy into that sceen, so it was easy for me to get out before i got too out there. it took me about 6 months before i finally was able to go on with my life with out coke...in addiction time this isnt very long, but again, i was the lucky one. my old friends however.... :frown:
good luck man, hold your head up. it will be tough, but you CAN do it.

i too would like to thank all the people on here. they have been a bigger help to me than they realize. my life is still pretty fucked up, but i have learned how to deal with things better. especially when they are completly out of your control...thanx guys

Well, total this week, I've done about 10 grams. I haven't done any for a few days now, and I feel completely confident that I've got my grasp on it again. I never actually seeked it out throughout the week, it was always offered to me. I just have to make sure I don't start seeking it out, and that if it's offered to me I can make sure it's not going to cause problems if I decide to accept. Thanks for the help and confidence. The biggest help, has simply been distraction. Keep yourself busy 24/7. Never have a dull moment, and keep your mind occupied with other things. It makes withdrawl alot easier. You barely notice it.

Edit: On a sidenote, I thought I'd mention that as of yesterday, I've paid back all the money I owe to people (mostly non-drug-related). This is a good day.

crack is some weird shit dawg...I never liked it, in fact I hated it but always wondered why am I all fucked up again??? Concentrate on making music, and think about the negatives of it.

One time I was sooo fucked up that I seriously thought I was gonna die!(a 1/4 between three peeps) I was so fucking scared I can't even explain it...My heartbeat was so fast that my whole body was throbbing. I was having trouble breathing and I was convinced that if I fell asleep I wouldn't wake up....I know sleep. Eventually, I did fall asleep and I didn't quit. There is something very shameful about coc and especially crack, and I'm all too familiar w/ it.

^this is some food for thought, your not alone and there is hope. As of now I haven't done coc for over a year and that was a isolated incident. I haven't really used for 3 years.

Do me a favor and stop, I noticed your screen name and looked at your profile. I love Outkast and Atmosphere (I just went to slug's concert last week and it was so fucking fun!) I also write and spit so it sucks to see someone so like myself in a fucked up situation that in which I know the road it leads to.

Holla...Toad
