House to vote on Syrian Accountability act today
    #1990458 - 10/08/03 05:08 PM (13 years, 2 months ago)

A bill presenting Syria with some tough-talking anti-terrorism demands was scheduled for a vote Wednesday in Congress, USA Today reported.

Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y., the chief author of the Syria Accountability Act, says the measure has support from a majority in both the House and the Senate, and the White House has given it its backing as well.

This bill was originally introed by Santorum, that affable bloke of sodomy fame.

I love how they do this.. they keep introducing it.. over and over.  Its like a child saying, are we there yet?  Are we?  Come on... how bout now?

I bet we just might be there shortly. :frown:
