I don't watch hockey or baseball. So this is a lot more exciting for me than the Marlins or whoever the fuck is playing in the NHL playoffs.
I'll take playoff hockey over the nba any day. The last 2 minutes are the only exciting part of basketball games. Hardly though because it's all fouling. Couldn't care less who ends up in the finals. Just hope the heat don't win again that shits just boring.

I don't like Noah but I respect his passion like KG in the day.
The Wizards is such a faggot name. Goddamn they used to be the Baltimore Bullets. Now it's the Washington Wizards.

Washington just won in OT. Ended up being a pretty exciting game.
I had no idea boozer grew up in Alaska. I just looked up his bio and he was actually born in Germany, then moved to AK. For some reason I always thought he was from Puerto Rico. ------------ I can't stand Noah either, but I gotta respect how hard he plays every game. Besides Derrick Rose, the last player I enjoyed watching with the Bulls was MJ.
Too bad I can still picture him in his final season as an old Wizard. Figuratively and literally.

Ya he played for Juneau high. Him and mario chalmers.
Other than that one of my teachers who was from here played 2 seasons of football in AZ.
Then we got about 4 players in the nhl. A really good friend of mine his brother was the goalie for the pens for 2 seasons. Ty conklin. Heard many an interesting story from him.

Actually googling him I only knew him when he was a pen goalie. He's played for 4 or 5 teams including the redwings. Cool ass dude can't imagine how awesome that'd be.

That's pretty cool man. I love meeting and talking to pro athletes to find out what they're really like. There are hundreds upon hundreds of guys that grew up and went to school in my area that played or still play in the NFL. My high school alone had 6 players drafted into the NFL while I attended (obviously former students before me).
I wish I could get into Hockey. It's just that without a team to root for (the Panthers don't count lol), it gets boring. The sport itself I think is awesome though. I try to watch every game of the finals every year.

Well in alaska all we had was the aces. An echl team. 2 steps below pro. They still managed over 5000 people a game was a ton of fun every time. They were fighters and winners.
I'm a flyers fan I've basically had to pick and choose my pro sports teams because we didn't have any. Lifeling seattle fan though. I guess I root for okc but still kind of bitter there not the sonics any more and there one of the top teams every year.
Just love hockey watched some amazing games this week.

Yea you guys deserve a basketball team again. I was really excited when the Kings where supposed to come up to Seattle and become the Super Sonics. Too bad that fell through.
The fans in Seattle seem so supportive of their local sports. Even MLS games are always packed. Probably the only city in the US that takes soccer seriously.

Ya man we love are teams. I couldn't make it to the parade in downtown seattle for the nfl trophy. Which sucks there were over a million people packed into the streets. Watched it on tv and it was just a sea of people.
I meet so many people just wearing my hawk hat around. Washington really loves its sports team. Gonna try to go to a couple mariner games this summer. Tickets are like 20 bucks and its so easy to sneak into the good seats because they always suck
Mls is definitely on my list too looks like a ton of fun.

The Bulls are totally blowing it against Washington, losing their 2 home games. Noah is a beast but there are no dependable scorers. The Bulls had a reputation for getting past the first round without name scorers, but it doesn't look good this year.
All they talked about on the radio today was find a way to get Carmelo, but that might not work with Thibideau, because he doesn't let guys play the 4th quarter unless they're good on defense.
Agree the Wizards is a bad name, but there were too many bullets flying around Washington and Baltimore for that name

I'm sorry but I don't think Noah deserved defensive player of the year... IMO Davis or Ibaka should have won that!
As for most improved, Dragic definitely deserved it. He is such a talented, underrated player!

I would make a case for Roy Hibbert or D'Andre Jordan for D player of the year before Davis or Ibaka. The voting for these awards is sometimes skewed and in my view don't mean much at all.
Not taking anything away from Noah but any of the 5 players mentioned above including him could've won the award this year and it would've been "fair".

Did Noah win defensive player of the year? I did not know. There are others more skilled but he gives everything he has.

Yea he won it a few days ago. I agree with you that he's the hardest worker out of the bunch that came behind him in votes.
I don't think he's the best, just most committed. Personally I can't stand his personality though.
If I had a vote it would've gone to D'andre Jordan.

I can see where you're going. Noah definitely is no doubt the most passionate player in the league. Jordan's team did have a better record so I guess you could say he is more deserving because of that. How about his alley-oop the other night? Shit was marvelous

Yea. That oop was nasty. I love watching the Clippers play in general.
Well, I gotta walk over to the arena. It's time for Heat/Bobcats game 2.
Talk to you all when I get back.
