Wonderful, I'm completely without a conscience, leaving me free to do as I please. Plus, it gives me an excellent out when people try to have religious convos with me.

Kind of jealous.. I have some red in my beard, does that count?
My hair is brown, but I have one area which grows blonde, then my facial hair is kind of red, especially in sunlight.

I'M GINGER NAO!? :ooo:

Sorry Tmethyl. You have far too many feelings to not have a soul.

And guys, it isn't like I'm completely soulless. Each of my freckles represents a soul that I've stolen.

I accept my red hair, and my fiery pubes of love, as they have never once held me back from anything. It's actually a plus in may case. Most gingers are hideous, and suffer extreme aesthetic deficiencies, but being an attractive ginger makes me a walking collectable. I'm highly sought after by those ladies inflicted with the ginger fetish.

I'm vertically challenged, however. My height(or lack there-of) proves time and time again to be more crippling than my complexion. Anything from reaching the cookie jar to being able to reach my girlfriend's splendorous titties can present a challenge.

Combine my excessive sex appeal with my dwarfish height and you'll see a perfectly average man. I go to work, and I pee standing up. There's no difference between you and I pardoning, of course, that I get burnt by the moon on a cloudy night, and nobody's buying bottles of your hair color.

Thank you for reading, DG.

BTW you should watch this funny video that mocks gingers, because it is a little bit funny. Much like an acceptable form of racism.

I had a crap day for fungus, so my pics are more suited for this thread.

I can't tell if this is part of the plant or some sort of gall. It was the only growth of the tree that looked like this.

Here's a different one from the same tree.

All my butterfly pics from today are crap. Corey kept scaring them off while I tried to take pictures. I need to put time into my insect ID, but my guess is Carterocephalus sp. Feel free to prove me wrong if I'm wrong. I need the help and it won't hurt my feelings.

I really need to upgrade to a real macro lens. The T3i leaves a lot to be desired in the low light settings and that was paired with an extension tube. Not a big deal for mushrooms that don't move and allow any shutter speed, but handheld chasing bugs on a cloudy day yields these results. :mad2: I had to bump the ISO to 1600 or 3200 for most of these pics.

Thanks, PNW. A couple times today I actually caught myself taking pics that reminded me of Tmethyl's. Not a bad thing, that's a great place to draw inspiration from.

Yeah I do the same thing, from you, from Alan Rockefeller, from Joust, but mostly I just look closely at little things and take my time.
I've always been creative though, and even in a rut I can normally pull something out of nothing, dig a little deeper into the language of the universe.
Most of the time you think you're thinking, you're actually listening. :stoned:
When life throws lemons, make lemonade. When something crappy happens, like your car breaks down and you can't go hiking, go do what you can do, sometimes amazing shit comes of it. Sometimes I just ramble about random stuff.

As a continuation of the above, when I mentioned making the best of the worst;
I went hiking with my daughter and the woods were kind of on fire. No mushrooms, obviously.
So I just did what I could, and had some fun.

Forest fires don't GAF about signs.

This is a first for me, I've found 4-5 different colored aphids, but never BLACK!

The girl in the burn picture is amazing. It evokes a strong sadness for the loss of the forest.

I think its his daughter.

I believe that is correct.  And those are some great captures by the way.

A few randoms from the past week.

The worm/hand picture is the biggest earth worm I have ever uncovered.  Me and my buddy were fishing for some bass and bluegill, and after we ran out of worms I overturned this stump I used to sit on last year and this big guy was under it.  It is weird  because he was obnoxiously huge, as in I have never seen any worm at the in between stage.

And polyporous squamous in the first picture I believe.  I plan on dedicating this summer to identifying mushrooms, plants, and trees.  It should definitely come in handy in years to come.
