Jack Johnson was the musical score to the documentary about the fighter, it was also the first time that Mclaughlin and Billy Cobham(also of the Mahavishnu orchestra) played together on vinyl....

check out Galactic.

Its not as mellow because well the head head is a drummer but they're same funky mellow and they tour with good shows.
