This sucks fucking ass!! Any suggestions?

OK well my first grow kicked fucking ass!! Well I took a print and made a syringe and knocked up some more jars and did exactly the same shit as last time. Dunked over night and rolled in some verm, and double end cased. I had a bad feeling since it is getting alot colder here since i live in the mountains, and winter is around the corner. Well I figured I'd fail and they wouldnt grow. Well I dont know how long it has been since i birthed the jars, I'd say over a week. Well I got a shitload of hyphal knots just like my last grow. Actually It seems like alot more knots this grow then the last, id say over 300 on each cake. Well I noticed a few patches of knots 3 days ago, not alot only a few. Well today there are a shitload, and there are a few pins on each cake but the pins look so fucking small and I am almost positive that the ones popping up will all abort just by their scrawny appearnce. So i trouble shooted it and thought well maybe the cakes are dry. So I took a drill and sterlized the bit and drilled a hole in the middle of them and put straw in the holes and filled um to the top with water. And my room is the warmest in my house, probably 75-80 at most during the day. At nite probably low 70's. So I moved the pod into my room cuz i had them in the kitchen b4 and its fucking freezing in there. This sucks ass. Maybe im just overreacting and in 4 days ill have some big ass pins. I also did a casing the day I birthed the cakes. Well the myc never colonized any of the casng layer(verm). So I just scraped it off and stuck the casing in the pod. Only time will tell but I'm pissed.  :nonono:

I think you should have waited longer before you drilled or did anything different. Sometimes these things will surprise you. I will say, however, that a friend of mine, who lives in a hot climate, notices that his efforts are easier in the winter when his room temperature is in the low 70's. In the summer it is harder for him to get things rolling.

The pins are popping up slowly but they are so fucking small I think im not gonna get shit. I'm pretty fucking pissed off.

make sure the temp kind of stays around 75. had the same problem with my malabars.didn't realize it was getting around 65 every night. ended up with smaller mushrooms but a beautiful pin set. i still got an ounce dried off of a four cake casing.

Well the pin set is fucking amazing they are looking healthier now. I got probably round 40 pins on each cake. I guess I'll move the pod back into my room cuz it stays 75 in here. Where i got um now it stays around 65-70. And its about 57 degrees out side now.
