found these coming directly out of cow shit, right after rain near Athens, GA...got about 200 just in case they are active, but I'm thinking some kind of inactive pans or copes??

I hate to say but i think the season for cubes is just about over. You will have to wait till spring comes around to go back out. Weilii might be in your area however... Correct me if im wrong though.

Perhaps it is different in GA, but this is one of the best times of the year down in FL for cubes. It's gotten a little colder and a little dryer, so the shrooms are not flooded and baked.

Same in Alabama... this is when we pick the Garbage Bags full. During spring I may get a good bit pretty consistently but I have never come close to filling a garbage bag. In the fall, such ass the next few weeks, I've filled two whole trash bags with plenty to spare in a matter of 1-2 hours.
