no second flush / should i case

on my second flush three of my six cakes never produced pins after i dunked and cold shocked, double end cased them, the other cakes had a few pins develop into full mushrooms. The first flush was not very big so i don' tthink the cakes are spent.
so i can just try to wait it out, cold shock again, or case em.
I was thinking of crubleing and casing these probably sea of shroom style, with coco coir and verm. ( do i need to raise the PH ) If anyone has any ideas let me here em.
thanks

Can someone tell me what is this Dunk and Roll you guys are talking about I'm a newbie I have colonized 1/2 pint jars of Amazonian from Earth's Tongue. I want to make a casing for my first time. What do you guys think, should I case or birth the cakes whole? I will be using an Ultrasonic Humidifier in a Tupperware container.

Dunk in dry verm (sticks better) Then spray it moist.
The least I?ve gotten from a dunk and roll cake is 8 grams dry.

yeah dunk and rolled, before first flush and before the socond attempt. I removed most of the old verm after the first flush but did not want to scrape the cakes too hard. I am starting to think this may be the problem, the cakes look a bit bruised (blue) after cold shocking. And I am wondering if there is a layer of dead myclem that is preventing fruiting. I'll probably give em a week then case if i see nothing.
how well do you guys clean the cakes etween flushes?

my first flush was 9g dry off 5 cakes, after dunking and rolling. I must be doing something wrong.

Do not, do not, do not scrape your cakes. Just dunk and roll or do what you like but don't scrape a cake.

ok just so i understand.
After your first flush you don't remove any existing Verm from dunking and casing before dunking?
you just leave it on and dunk and roll and end-case again?
scraping probably was not the right word i really just brushed the verm off with my hand probably not to tramatic to the cake.

Yeah you can brush it off lightly but be careful.
