i had three jars of golden teachers (quarts)that did the same thing they have only been about 3 months but the mycelium just stopped no contams i dug them out of the jar with a clean fork the mycelium was very tough but very very mushroomy in smell ive never had the mycelium so hard really wierd it did seem quite dry i crumbled it up and mixed it in composted horse and cow manure this was three days ago still no signs of growth but i have my fingers crossed i will post more info on this if and when it becomes available :wink:
