That whole "homicide bombers" thing is just silly. I hear them saying that on Faux News.
Homicide bombers as opposed to what other kind of bomber? Suicide bomber is the correct term since all bombers commit homicide. Calling someone a homicide bomber is like calling guns "shooting guns" or calling hats "head hats".

Supposedly. I have seen no proof that the base in Syria was an active terrorist training camp. It seems the Israelis just want to make as much trouble for themselves as they can, so they can justify their continued human rights attrocities against the Palestinian people.

i think it's a silly term.
timothy mcveigh was a "homocide" bomber. so was ted kaczynski... but neither of them were suicide bombers.
pretty much every bomber is a "homocide" bomber. it's a stupid term.
suicide bombing refers to a particular type of bombing where the bomber kills themself in the process. it is a sub-category within the broader idea of "bomber".
"homocide bomber" is just reduntant.

The media originally started to call them suicide bombers because it was common notion among terrorists that what they were doing wasn't in fact suicide - that they were merely striking the enemy (to commit homicide) and dying would only be a consequence of such an operation, and thus: martyrdom. Calling them homicide bombers would only please the terrorists.
