Vote NO for the recall !!!!!!!!!
The economy of California is a product of Bush's failing economy!!!! It's not Gray Davis' fault!! This is just a ploy by money hungry Republicans to invade our government and ruin everything, like they always do! Gray Davis has done more than any GOvernor in the past half a century to protect the environment. Arnold is a greedy, womanizing Nazi who is incredibly stupid and would tear California to pieces.

The economy isn't Bush's fault either. People need to get over their addiction to blame.
Soon people will be blaming politicians for the weather.

Wow Baby Hitler, if the economy isn't Bush's fault, whose fault is it? I mean, after all, we are operating Bush's "Jobs and Growth" plan(since Bush took office, over 3 million jobs have been lost. There sure is jobs and growth ). The economy fluxuates according to tax systems imposed by the government. Sure, there is some chance occurences, but the state of the economy is largely due to the government.

After hearing about Davis signing a law to give drivers licenses to ILLEGAL immigrants, I decided to vote yes on recall.
But I am voting for the libertarian candidate Ned Roscoe:

"Wow Baby Hitler, if the economy isn't Bush's fault, whose fault is it?"
I think his point is that it's nobody's fault. The economy goes up and down all the time due to fluctuations all over the world.

Some of California's economic woes are generic, but most can be attributed directly to the politicians in the California legislature who voted for the policies enacted in the last four or five years, and the California governor who signed them into law.

Right, but wouldn't it be right to blame Bush for his massive overspending in a time of deficit?

Not only that but he raised the car registration tax by 300%... It now cost me $540 to register my car. Davis is a pig headed jack ass, he took his own actions on issues that effected everyone in California and listened to nobody. The result is that several hospitals, jails and schools have closed. Hundreds of businesses have moved out of California to seek a more stable environment and he has not managed to do anything all that great in almost two terms... Besides if we vote no on recall Davis can seek all his recent campaign expences from the taxpayers, adding over 10 million to the already 80 million this is costing us... Its time to vote for someone who knows hes not the best and can accept humility. Arnold wouldnt be my first choice but I believe him when he says hes against special interest groups and people who work for them and I think that he will listen to people who know what theyre talking about when he makes important decisions for our State. .02 cents

How so? States get money from the government. GW has been giving that money to Africa and the middle east to help them with the same problems we have here in the US...
When states get less money from the government they need to make cuts and those cuts effect everyone.

you might be interested to know that arnold is in the pockets of big business like enron and that pig Ken Lay.
I guarantee that the first thing you can expect to happen if Rarnold wins is that the suit against the energy corporations for the inflated charges will be dropped in a heartbeat....Enron is named in that suit.
The tech implosion has hurt california the most, meaning that it's probably hit our state the hardest and has been the largest economic pang to us.
I don't think that sort of thing can be blamed on anyone other than the overoptimism of the market and brazen investors.
personally, I think this election stinks of sour grapes and republican realpolitik.

afoaf, i was about to post about that. Check this out:

Despicable is all I can say.
Invertigo, why don't you elaborate on my ignorance? Your ignorance is clear. THe federal budget directly effects the state budget, and considering Bush has turned our mutli billion dollar surplus into a 9 trillion dollar deficit, lost millions of jobs, and has now decided to spend billions on a country that we have no right being involved with in the first place, I think it's fair to say Bush has affected CA's economy. Fucking conservatives!!! Arg.
The car tax wasn't even Davis' fault!!!!!! WILSON CREATED THE CAR TAX!!!!!!!!!! Poor Davis. He has the weight of the world on his shoulders. I would vote no on the recall just so Enron and Exxon won't get their 9 billion for screwing over the general public! (If you don't know what I'm talking about, read that link!)

Davis did not `sign` the car tax.
the increase in car tax came about through an obscure provision in the original bill passed (I believe under wilson) that would cause the rate to increase in the event of budget crisis.
it was a means of allowing the tax to increase autocratically without any politician needing to take the direct blame for the hike.
though, of course, while allowing it to go through, likely in an effort to ease the deficit numbers, grey prolly caught even more heat by giving his opponents yet another piece of munition to use against him.
it still sucks...even at its lowest point, cali's car tax was one of the highest in the nation.

Wait, so he could have stoped it?
Dont matter who thought of it or when it was written. Davis was our governor and he allowed it to happen. and yes, he did have to sign things things for it to happen.

Well,we'll just have to wait and see how much of this was actually Gray's fault. I do have a feeling that with the Terminator in office,California wil bel in the same shithole as before in a year (or longer if Bush gets reelected).Only time will tell.
