When people ask what strain is the most potent, most people would agree that all strains of cubes are about the same.  SO what are some factors that would result in low potency. the reason i ask is that i recently grew some Golden Teachers and although they are giving a decent body high, i wasnt getting any visuals even at up to 3.5 grams, they were grown with great care using BRF and mineral water, grown in a PMP. thanks  :cool:

low potency could be the result of heat used while drying.. or any excess heat around the dried mushrooms. heat breaks down psilocybin.

lol i might try a big trip next time, but not now. ne ways i put mine in front a fan and then in a chamber with damp rid so i never introduce heat, i was wondering if perhaps i changed from BRF and maybe some poo/straw, do you think i notice a bid increase in potency? or not enough to really tell?

poo/straw will definitly give you bigger stronger shrooms then brf. even grains will kick the potency up. IME brf shrooms have always been weak

how about diet? Don't eat or drink anything at least 12 hours before, and don't during. That works for me.

A friend of mine had the same experience with GT's on BRF cakes. They made you feel real warm and fuzzy, you were definitly tripping, but not many visuals... Does the conversion over to grains make the fruits produce a NOTICABLE difference in potency? If so, which grain increases this the most? Alien substrate? Rye? Millet? Thanks...

From reading similar threads on potency, everyone has a different opinion on this. My friend sampled 3 grams off the last flush and thought it was a weak batch of shrooms and sold them at half price to friends. Of course then his friends all doubled their doses. It turns out they were just as strong as ever. I watched a kid experience his first level 5 trip. He looked like a deer caught in headlights all night and couldn't operate door handles. All these shrooms were grown off the same casing, but had different potency. So my personally conclusion is that mushies do whatever the hell they want. Just double up your dosage next time!

gt's have always been very potent for me. but im kind of getting to where i believe most cubes are the same except b+.it all depends on the grow enviroment. and the substate. but there is definatley a world of difference between staw@poo and brf.

Nah, preschooler thinks b+ are stronger or (likely) weaker than the rest.

I completely disagree with that....from my experience brf is exactly the same potency as straw/poo but your right about them growing bigger
