I'm partial to the mahogany flats.  Nice cerebral energy,  the itching is a problem tho.

omg, I lived in an attached rowhouse that shared a wall with another home - the people next door had bedbugs and had the same landlord, so he informed us while waiting on an exterminator. We literally sprayed poison anywhere that they could come through, everyday, multiple times a day, and coated the place in some kind of powdery substance, we washed every single fabricky thing on the hottest setting possible as a precaution.

I moved by bed away from the wall, and probably caused myself more damage spraying pesticide/poison everywhere, but they never breached our defenses. I still had so many issues sleeping thinking about how many of them were probably living in the shared wall - Philly is the worst city for bedbugs or 2nd worst after NYC and you can get them just by coming into contact with people who have them, as they'll hitch rides on clothing - holy shit, I got so paranoid riding the subway sandwiched between people during rush hour.

ugh. my worst nightmare. I will forever be paranoid about guests bringing them in, and used furniture.
