is this ready to pick? (pics) and another Q?
    #1981416 - 10/05/03 03:28 PM (13 years, 2 months ago)

the one right in the center of the first pic...the cap looks to be opening...should i pick it? and i dont understand whats going on with the rest of my cakes...but you can see that 2 of em are fruiting like crazy. the others have a FEW pins on them...but they are tiny. the only thing i noticed was that the cakes that are fruiting good are smaller than the bigger cakes but about an inch, and they were the ones that finished colonizing first. does this have any relation to the amount of fruits im getting on them? and why the others arent fruiting?

what about the other cakes? are they just slow starters? the 2 that did grow have grown super fast...they started pinning less than a week ago.
