Ps semilanceata basking in the morning light
    #1980971 - 10/05/03 11:55 AM (13 years, 2 months ago)

Went down to the lawn this morning to see what was going on. Had a full day painting yesterday so this little foray was perfect for lessing the stresses of painting your own house while your roommates hold a knife to your throat. Anyhow hope yous enjoys the picture.

Man, your liberty caps are so different from the uk
ones, that they must be a different strain. Ours
have much thinner stems and very different mature caps.

Copy paste it into a new browser window, and you get an index of pictures. It isnt working because the image tags only work with
single images.

Card just posted the entire contents of his "photos" directory. I'm sure he'll fix it when he gets back from hunting later today.

Reply, remember that there are several species in a pasture whoich resemnble liberty caps such as P. strictipes and P sierrae (=P. subfimetaria. They both macroscopically are similar but still have certain macroscopic differences. But also that liberty cpas have numersous characteristics in the psilocybe genera which are different from each liberty cap picked.

Look at examplees I posted here at the shroomery or at my site of liberty cap images with many diffrfenet shapes with and with out niples and/or umbos.

etc, incurved margins and ones without incurved margins. short ones and long ones. In grass in lawns and parks, liberty cap s may be long or short depending on the length of grass, In sheep grazing lands the liberty caps are usually smal two to three inches or so because the sheep trim the grass constantly.

the pic doesn't work because the url isn't a picture.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.
