Agrocybe species can look a lot like ovoids, especially when young.

I'm thinking these might be Panaeolus olivaceus, I found them on a walk tonight in a persons yard who has a bunch of dogs.

I would agree. Fresh laid lawns with dogs in the spring are perfect. I always notice a kind of dimpling and maybe an imaginary silver glimmer on the pileus. Technically speeking.

I was under the impression that Panaeolus fimicola has an association with livestock dung...

Are these more like the ones you would find in the eastern states or western states. Im under the impression that the appearance of fully grow fruits varies greatly.
Edit: Also wheres the bluing on the big, cracked in half, specimen? Looks really brown to me.

They're more or less the same genetics, it's just that west coast conditions are way colder than east coast when they're fruiting and are always mulch bed, man-made or man-influenced patches, so you get more "unnatural" looking ovoids on the West coast that look different than warm weather, creekside "natural" east coast ovoids. Cold weather + mulchbed = dark brown to olive green caps, short and heavy set, stocky fruits. Warm weather + tall reeds, riverside debris = long stemmed, straw to silvery green/whitish caps.

Tell ya the truth I have never seen green specimens in Oregon. I have noticed ovoids in Seattle are a bit darker. If ya check older posts from Oregon people were always posting chunky ass "stuntzii" finds in the spring. Joshua from waaayyy back finding em near Eugene. They are actually ovoids that resemble their azurescen cousins when allowed to fully mature. I think.. Oregon ovoid pins that I have seen tend to be chestnut brown, then the fruit becomes sort of a flesh light tan color. Also these tend to fruit in 50's and rain sun mix in the spring and fall.
