Whenever I need to take out money from the atm in order to buy drugs, the clerk has always been more than happy to exchange 20's for 5's. But lately, like within the last couple months or so, the clerks have been assholes about it, telling me, "I have to wait for someone to pay with cash in order to open the register." when I know damn well they don't need a "sale" in order to open that cash register. I even used to work at 7-11, you don't need no "sale" in order to open the cash register. I know this, I was robbed twice, you DO NOT need a sale to open it.
Well today was just the icing on the cake. I called mr dealer to let him know I needed 2 grams ($25). So I take out $40 (because the atm only spits out 20's) and I ask the clerk to exchange it (I waited for someone to pay with cash before asking). So the bitch gives me 2 $10 bills. I tell her "I need at least one $5 bill" and she told me that's all she has. So I say out loud in front of all the customers, "ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I need at least one FIVE, I'm meeting my DRUG DEALER!!" So she gives me a 5 and 5 one's after I NICELY bitch about it.
I also know damn well that that isn't "all she has" because you can pull out $100 worth of ones or 5's from the safe. What a bitch. I mean hell, if someone really wanted to, they could walk in with a gun, rob the clerk, hold the gun to their head and tell them to take out $100 from the safe, and then flee the scene.
Does anyone else notice that 7-11 clerks are becoming bigger assholes lately or is it just me? It kinda makes them targets to get robbed. I would NEVER rob anyone, but I could definitely see that someone else could because they don't like the clerk.

I only go to 7-11 to take out money because that is the only place that does not charge me a fee. My bank is based out of another state (it's a DAMN GOOD credit union that has treated me VERY WELL for over 9 years of service). My credit union gave me a VERY VERY good interest rate on my first car loan. I will NEVER leave my bank.
The only other place I can use a fee free atm is at this other co-op credit union but it's only open before 6pm.

I think you've proven to us that you will overreact to minor offenses, but saying someone should get robbed b/c they won't make change is a new low.
Did you consider buying a drink or candy bar and giving them a $20? They are there to sell shit not make change for you to go buy weed.

Do you live in a big city??? Because like Starbucks in my neck of the woods I have never had a problem with along with 7-11 employees. I have recently heard of a lot of people saying the same thing though  My guess is because is those workers in bigger cities can be douches
Also I agree, Boo Hoo they didn't make change for you

meh. it happens man. sometimes you just gotta let it go and go somewhere else.
i've had my share of douche bag employees, sometimes they're just having a bad day. i usually tuck in my ego and leave. besides im sure there is a reasonable explanation?..

Sorry, I didn't really mean it in that kind of way. I never said they "should" get robbed, I said that it makes them TARGETS to be robbed.
Why should I buy something at a convenience store when it is over 400% what they charge for the same thing at a regular grocery store? And I buy weed too often to buy a pack of gum or a candy bar every time I do this. This is really besides the point though.

im sure they get that alot. everytime i want to get change 7-11 is the first place i think about. they probably get tired of it after a while. anyway i just buy something small and it's all good.

Yah but if they're not a DOUCHE then it shouldn't be a big deal. I know I never minded giving change to people when I worked at 7-11. Hell, I would let my friends steal shit. If my manager wasn't there, I didn't give a shit about anything.

what do you think is the real reason?, are they just lazy because they'll have take more 5s out of the safe or something?...
or maybe thats what they are trained to do, to only give out a certain amount of change during the day?, perhaps to boost business profits?....
