Had a question about H202 and straw

Was wondering since you use a piece of a cake ect. to make a straw log, woulnt it be alot better to fight contams if you added some h202 to the h20 you soak/boil the straw in. or after you boil the straw soak it in some h202+h20? any thoughs?

worthless to add H2O2 before you boil. The heat will break down the H202 into H20.

a. You dont boil it, it you pasturize it...no boiling nessecary.

b. Soaking in water after you pasturize kind of defeats the pasturization process doesnt it?

What about adding some h202 to the water you mist the log after the first flush?
