Mycobag TEK

It feels good to be back at shroomery again. My first and last successful grow was a year ago, but unfortunately due to multiple apartment changes, I haven't been able to continue my hobby, UNTIL NOW. For my next grow I thought, I'd experiment with the mycobags, since I can't stand having to buy and wash the damn jars, and space is also an issue. So I am planning to order a few mycobags from sporeworks. I am planning on mixing the substrate myself, but I haven't been able to find any good threads or TEKs so far. Can anyone lead me into the correct direction? Last time I grew, I used millets and I had good success with them. Most bags that people talk about around here contain rye. Will there be too much of a difference? Also I am planning on casing the mycelium after good growth, any suggestions on what strain to use with the mycobags?? thanks

You can buy empty ones though. Save money on substrate and shipping.

I was planning on buying empty ones, but I am not sure what proportions of water and grain I should use.

I read from a post on here somewhere that the turkey oven bags that you can buy at a grocery store work well too. I could be wrong.
