Yesterday I encountered what I think to be psilocybe caerulea, formerly stropharia cyanea. They were growing in a bog setting. The largest cap was 1 3/8" in diameter. Caps azure blue, with patches of hay color showing through, and having a seperable gelatinous pelicle. Small umbo on most caps. Stems between 1 and 3 inches, blue almost all the way to the cap, with patches of white showing through. Spore-print: purple brown to violet.
I have read mixed reports on the activity of this species, and I am not planning on consuming them. However it would be nice to know if anyone has experienced this psilocybe. I will post pictures of it soon. peace, Ude

The mushroom is not psychoactive And it is still considered as Stropharia by most mycologists.

Wikipedia lists it as active. I would love to see a picture.
