 How much to eat for first trip..

Hey guys this will be my first post but ive been reading on the shroomery for some time, just havent seen a thread on how much you should take for your first trip..im sure there are posts but I could not find them, anyway.. I have been in search of shrooms for about a year now unable to find them from dealers, I decided to grow them because I wanted to trip sooo bad, but before I could start I recently accuired 3.7 grams of shrooms, this is all I can get and dont know if I can get more, so I dont want to eat like a half eigth for my first trip just to have a light trip, Im thinking about eating all of it because I want to have an intense trip..What do you guys think? thanks ahead of time.

My first trip was 3g's and it was out of this world...almost more then I could have handled. Saying that, if I could do it over I probably would have gone with 2.-2.5g's my first time. If I were you, I'd do 2.-2.5g's.
You can always do more g's when you grow your own. There's no hurry right now. 
Take my advice for what its worth and stay safe.

I did 13g wet, which is roughly 1.3g dry, although wet is much more potent, so we'll juse say I had about 1.7g dry my first trip, and it was waaaaaaayyyy more than I expected! Trust me, 1.7g for a first timer is no light trip. I still had a touch with reality, which was good since I felt safe.
CEV's are fucking amazing. You won't even believe it.

Same here... I did about 12g wet my frist time out and it was MUCH more than I expected. I had tripped before on other stuff, so I was not surprised by tripping... just wasn't expecting that much from that little.
Enjoy your first time, cause 12g wet doesn't do much of anything for me now unless I have not eaten any in several months.

there are two schools of thought, you can choose to err on the side of caution and only take a half dose, or go for it and take the full thing. I would say 3\3.5gs is where you should aim, but i subscribe to the jump in rather than wade in theory. Remember, if you're considering trying an illegal and potentially mindfucking substance in the first place, you're probably not one to lecture on not taking risks.... Good luck and have good fun!

Unless you have a fair amount of experience with psychedelics, a half eigth will be a delightfully intense experience. My first trip was off of 1-1.5g of dried cubensis and I was in outer space for a good 6 hours. I had my girlfriend at the time to drive myself and my buddy jP around and it was one of the greatest times of my life. Soon thereafter, my girlfriend tripped off a similarly low dose and had just as good of an experience. I recommend you start low, as to leave room for expansion and allow for a more comfortable and controllable experience.
My rec's for a newbie are always around 1.7g - and since you have 3.7, you could do just as well to split that into two doses and have a great time.

Thanks for everyones input, Im going to be doing them saterday night with my 2 best friends trip sitting me. Im not sure what im going to do yet, but im still leaning towards taking it all... anymore input in greatly appreciated

I dont recommand to take it all
as it was said already, 1.5-2g is the way to go !

my first mushroom dose ever was 1g and I tripped nicely from it....now a days I like 5-7gs...1-2.5g is probably the best place to start
