I have heard of people letting the logs fruit invitro at first, then birthing, after first harvest flush...but then i have also heard that straw logs flush fruit once, then ususally sucumb to contams, soooo yeah. THis probably isnt much help, just a little bit of conflicting info i have found.

letting pins form inside the 2liter first, then birthing so the fruits can grow and mature, more chance of an uncontamed first flush.

fruiting is when the fruits grow, birthing is removing the log/casing/cake from its container.

Once the log is 100 percent colonized should i let it in the incubator and wait till pins form or should i put the log in the fruiting chamber and wait for pins to form then cut off the plasic?
