Who's voting?
It's looking like it'll be a Liberal takeover. The NDP's campaign has done quite well though, and I wouldn't be too suprised to see them become the opposition. I'm anxious to see how it turns out though.

Nobody else from Ontario?
The polls are all closed now, the results are starting to come in. It's looking like it'll be the Liberals with Conservatives in opposition. Wether or not it'll be a majority government has yet to be seen...
If anyone cares.

I lived in Ontario from 1969 to 1987, but they won't let me vote there anymore.
Glad to hear the NDP has no chance of regaining control there, though. Bob Rae's reign was disastrous.

Actually, they didn't do too badly this campaign. I think the only reason they didn't end up getting more seats was because they had to split their votes with the liberals, which handed a bunch of seats over to the conservatives.

Yeah looks like the liberals are kicking some ass!
I was a Poll Clerk in this election! You should do it if you have a day to waste next time, Phluck. You get paid for it (almost $300 i think) too.
At my poll, the Liberals one by 9 votes.
Sadly the green party only got two votes (at my poll): me and my room mate
But really I'm rooting for the libbies.

My mom suggested I do that, but I never got around to signing up. A guy I knew was there doing it, maybe I'll sign in the federal election (not too far off!).

"But really I'm rooting for the libbies. " "WHY!!!!"
Because they stand a chance, and they're better than the PCs.
"the NDP for instance are a bunch of sell put pussies "
How so? I think a lot of NDP and Green policy are similar, but if you actually want to get elected, you have to be somewhat moderate.
I'm pretty disapointed at how the NDP did... their campaign went really well, and then they LOST 2 seats, which also stripped them of official party status. Ah well, at least the Liberals didn't have a minority government with the PCs in opposition.

In case anyone missed it:
Liberals: 72 seats PCs: 24 NDP: 7
From the CBC website: "In the popular vote, the Liberals were up six per cent, the Tories were down nine percent and the NDP were up three percent. "
So the NDP actually did get more votes this time around. Hampton said during the campaign that they'd be taking 30 seats this election, but as we can all see that didn't happen.
