any cube strains native to sw kansas?

hey all, since falls coming on, im just wondering, is there any strains of cubes native to kansas? im just wondering because we have ALOT of cattle ranchers out here and i would like to try gathering this year, please gimme all info, pics, etc to identify them. i know there are lots of edible mushies growing here, but not sure on cubes.

Kansas is a bit too far North. I'm sure if your extremely lucky during some freak weather conditions you could stumble across some Psilocybe cubensis.
Its worth a look.
If they are growing there, they would be growing now. They like warmer and more humid enviornments like the states around the Gulf Coast.
Just do a search for Psilocybe cubensis on www.google.com or here, and you'll find plenty of pictures and information.

by the way; the term "strains" is relevant only to cultivation. each time you find a mushroom of a particular species it will be a different strain, wich means only that it is genecticaly different from any other you will find in the wild, just like indevidual people.

ok, we have had like 6 times the normal rainfall this season and it is so green around here i havent seen it like this for over 5 years. i went looking like i normally do for edibles, found lotsa them on deer/cow dung, maybe ill get lucky, who knows, lol

never said i was gonna eat em, lol, i got a thing about eating stuff grown on shit, unless ofcourse its pasterized and growing cubes
