Extra help stopping repetitive and obsessive thoughts/looping on shrooms?

1st, I used the search feature. In this post Ill describe methods ive used.
So yesterday, I went to the park with Golden Teacher. Had a bottle of orange juice with the mushies. This had the mushies hit me hard, as within 20-30 minutes of being at the park I could barely walk on 1.5 grams.
I also took a few hits of blueberry kush while I walked down this nature trail. Everything was beautiful. Cartoonish. Colorful. Sound was cranked up and I feel like I could communicate with nature. Only problem is I was worried about getting caught. Though I KNEW for a fact I wouldn't get in trouble... I worried. I worried about worrying. And worried about that.
Eventually, I couldn't stay at the park and went back home. Which is unfortunate because it was my first trip outside. You see, I've always tripped inside. And I see Celtic like wagon wheels flow on everything (like popcorn ceilings or carpet). Well outside these Celtic like patterns were flowing across the big fields. Giant flowing patterns. Slowly moving like the ocean. BEAUTIFUL!!! Just couldn't ditch the worrying.
When I got home I was still stuck in "worry mode" for 2-3 hours. This was a 7 hour solid trip. Towards the end the worry faded. I finally took some more weed hits and listened to the calm vibrations of my float tank. I was able to slow the vibrations of sound coming from float tank. Slowed them down to a slow tic... Tic... Tic. Amazing. Met a giant eye ball entity. Etc.
In the past, on mushrooms, I've fallen in love with girls in my dreams from long ago... Or x girlfriends from like middle school. And I'll obsess over them for hours. Girls I forgot existed!!!
How do I curb these obsessions with random girls from long ago or with worrying? The looping?
I've tried Deep breathing. Meditating. Changing scenery. Talking to people. Watching trippy videos. Looking for objects that do crazy things like spin or something. Draw.
I can handle DMT like a breeze. Its supposed to be stronger. Can't figure out why I have repetitive thoughts on mushies.
Is it the weed? Making my brain reset and redo the loop? I like how weed kick starts it. I dont ALWAYS experience the loops. Even on weed. Are loops what people call bad trips?
Is there any more successful techniques than changing the mood and music? Mushrooms are my favorite thing. I can deal with the looping if I have to. I'm not going to stop them because of looping.
I'm just looking for a few maybe more extreme techniques to ending looping and obsessions than I've read on this forum.

When you first notice a loop, take a fat toke of some dmt. No more you no more loop... Problem solved!

a hit of dmt - that's funny, and I am sure it does change the state of mind, and that can derail any sequence that is hounding a psychonaut.
the problem is that all mental sequences are associative: so if you resist against a mental form (or pattern) this highlights the form you want to escape and that encourages more association which will drive the loop more.
therefore attempting to escape a loop entangles you more into the loop.
since escape does not work, some have tried immersion into the loop more whole heartedly and this kind of works like the blast of DMT idea because the intensity can change the state of mind.
you may not want that either.
what I find functional is not to resist nor to dive in, but to sit by. This is not easy either, but I get the best mileage out of it. I am aware of the loop and its parts, but I am aware of my self and i care about myself and am sitting here keeping myself company.
I don't wander off leaping at any distractions (so you could say it is a meditation) I just keep close to my breath and my body and what is happening in my mind without adding any energy to anything except being still and keeping myself company.
the loop runs its course and eventually i can get up and continue with whatever needs to be done, and can enjoy the light of day or the light of night.

Lol I was just kidding but thanks for that read. I have to try that the next time I run into the loops myself.

The DMT idea actually originates from "The Psychedelic Experience", I laughed when I read that....Just imagine, trying to escape a loop, so you smoke some DMT...and have a hellish trip...then you get to come back to who knows how many more hours of a DMT-inspired bad trip That being said, I agree with Redgreenvines though. Attempting to escape from a loop can just reinforce it. It's best to try to look at it from a 3rd person perspective and let it run its course.
In my worst loop ever, I had really bad cotton mouth from smoking, and I kept chewing at my lip to get the dry skin off...It kept going to the point where I thought I was going to actually chew through my lip and hurt myself.......of course, I never did

OP figure out how to be in the moment to stop worrying. Like if you were washing dishes, instead of washing them while thinking about stuff, be in the moment washing the dishes and concentrate/focus on the feeling of the water/dishes and the sounds and smells.

The solution is obvious, as far as I see it. Don't smoke weed. Weed can muck up your thinking ability. Not always, but it can.

Two things.
One, weed can do this.
Two, it is my belief that thought loops are the manifestation of the psychedelic realization, that we have no true concept of time.
Embrace this. Learn from it. Take comfort in your knowledge of the substance. And enjoy the show.

Seriously? This is the stupidest thread I've ever seen. Dont smoke weed if you dont want to obsess and loop, especially if your not experienced with trips and havent learned how to manage your trip.
Tomorrow someone will be asking the same thing who mixes meth or crack with their shrroms

This makes perfect sense... Possibly immersing myself into the loop and even trying to enjoy it might make me get out of it.
TheodoreRoosevelt - sorry if I wasn't very clear. I get thought loop WITHOUT weed too. And sometimes I can smoke a TON of weed and avoid thought loop too. Sorry I upset you so much.
Tripsahoy420 - I like your profile picture/avatar. The slow flow of it reminds me of when I do higher doses. Except it's usually numbers/letters flowing like that.
And I hope I don't get in a mutilating lip loop or anything like that.
DMT with mushrooms doesn't seem to work much for me. I get light visualizations, flowing pincushions laced with data, then visualizations are gone. Followed by just REALLY extreme realizations like the importance of the sun, how we're destroying nature, stuff on a much larger scale than just 'myself'.
But... I guess I could use it to try to rip myself out of thought loops. I don't necessarily want to stack drugs to get OUT of a loop, but it might be safe. DMT has never brought fear or bad trips. "Evil" slug entities can dissect my body and operate on me. And I'll come out of the trip thankful and wondering what they helped me with :P

I have a lot of serious things hanging over me. A business that I struggle to keep in the black (out of debt), a house to pay for and a family to support, parents who are elderly and sick, teenaged kids,.. there's a lot that can go wrong in my life and I'm basically responsible for everything. Sounds like a recipe for a bad trip.
Last summer when I was planning a mushroom trip, I was worried that these things would bring me down. I don't want to be tripping and worrying about all the stressful shit in my life over and over again. Here's what I did:
On the day before my trip, I spent a good amount of time thinking about all of these things. I tried to think them out, over think them, and make myself sick of thinking about them. I got it so there wasn't much left to think about - no new revelations or realizations. So when I tripped, my mind considered those things resolved. During my trip, when one of those thoughts popped up it was easy to put it aside because I was already sick of thinking about it. Kinda like hearing a Stairway to Heaven for the five hundredth time - great song, but I already know where it goes and what happens, no need to go through it again.
In short - before you trip, think the shit out of the things you don't want to get stuck thinking about. When you trip, your mind will be ready to dismiss it when it comes up.

Ya Terrence McKenna said something like that I think his words were along the lines of overthinking all the bad shit and come to grips with the fact that you are an asshole lol and then he said something about talking to the mushroom aloud and telling it when your trip is becoming too much lol
