There is also another little one sprouting on the other side of the leaf too, think overall about 6-7 sprouts total.
Iโd like to repot into something with deeper soil but I need to figure out a way to keep the humidity up in something bigger. Maybe a clear jug of some sort and I could purchase an another heating pad to wrap around it. Do you transfer yours outside? It does get very humid here but only for a few months. Maybe I could leave it outside during the summer.
Btw Lill I love your avatar! I get those chocolate mushrooms from 5 below from time to time and they are sooooo good. Haha, just had them a few days ago ๐

solo, you could transplant to a small pot and place inside a plastic gallon ziploc bag.

Thatโs a great idea. I donโt think I could have ever thought of something so simple and un-overly complicated. Haha, I always make shit harder than it needs to be. Thank you!

Apologies for this post, but could you guys point me towards a straightforward tek for indoor growing? I live in a 3b biome, so outdoors is not an option. I realize the tek might be hidden in this thread, but it's 19 pages long, so thank you to anyone who decides to spoon feed me

Do you grow any other tropical or subtropical plants indoors? I would imagine similiar growing conditions, warm and humid with good light. I had some leaf clones growing inside over winter using heat mats and humidity domes.

Got my psychotria viridis today hopefully it takes well to the semi-hydroponic setup.

Why are you growing it as semi-hydro? Nice caapi, I just planted some big mother plants in the ground.

I find semi-hydro pretty easy and low maintenance. I never mess up with over or under watering since it'll pull water as needed and even if the top soil is dry it'll move water via roots to pull nutrients from soil as needed.
I do top water every week or two even with the water reservoir.
I'd do my entire collection as semi-hydro since I find it super easy. I have a few cacti in the same setup without any issues.

Cool idea, never seen that. Will have to experiment with some nexus clones I took.

Very easy to setup just make sure you leave a cm or two of space between the soil and the water. The roots should go into the water on their own and not be placed in.
In nature it would be similar to the plants reaching an underground water bed.
EDIT: BTW the caapi is in the same setup just a larger container.
