HELP!!! Extremely Moist Jars!! (PICS!!!!)
    #1963781 - 09/29/03 09:02 PM (14 years, 1 month ago)

Ok guys I'm looking for a little advice, I have about 3 jars that had water enter the jar during Sterilization, what should I do?? Abort them and redue the Jars or inoculate them or is there a way to take some of the water out.

All advice welcome.

1st Jar

2nd Jar

Putting them in an obsolete incubator (one that drys out the air) can be the answer to your problem.

for some, spore syringes are very valuable. if my friend was you, i bet he'd re-do them just to be safe not to waste.

Well Thank a bunch guys, I appreciate you taking the time to give me advice, I redid all of the jars that were too moist. They're boiling as I write this.

if a peice of the tinfoil is even remotely inside the water, i have heard it can act as a funnel to suck water up the tinfoil and into the jars...duno if this relevent or not.

I'd try baking them in the oven at about 300F
