Im going to biuld an automated misting machine

My question is this. I want to build an automated misting machine for my fruiting chambers. If I buy an aquarium filter to pump water to the mist head is 300 gph enough pressure to create a fine mist or would I need more pressure from a more powerful pump?

In economics, diminishing returns (also called diminishing marginal returns) is the decrease in the marginal (per-unit) output of a production process as the amount of a single factor of production is increased, while the amounts of all other factors of production stay constant.
The same applies here.

I dind't understand... fruiting chamber for what? with a 300 gph pump you have this results flash=425,344]http://www.youtube.com/v/egmGLJx2q4Q[/flash]
I don't think is good for you. You need about 100 or maybe 150psi pump...but it cost too much. If your chamber isn't small you could buy mister for reptile (about 99€...maybe...)look for it and ask to shopper for your purpose.
If you wanna try with something cheaper but louder (many louder) you could use a pump of coffee machine. It cost about 20 and thin misters (i dunno how many microns). Or you could buy some chinese ultrasonic fogger...
hope this help, ask for more information

The cheap solution here is a coolmist on a timer.
.... but as somebody who recently built an automated lighting, temp, and humidity control unit, including programming the controller for scratch, I say FOLLOW YOUR HEART AND MIST AWAY! Three cheers for overdoing it, lol.

if you wanna go the cheap route look up LPA(low pressure aeroponics) the use rather cheap low pressure pumps and garden misters that really only make droplets not mist
if you want full blown proper mist look up HPA(high pressure aeroponics) pumps start costing close to $200, plus an accumulator tank, pressure rated fittings, solenoids, etc..
but I'm guessing low pressure is all you need..
searching for those tags will bring up an abundance of information, lots of links of where to buy parts, part lists, instructions on how to set them up etc.

Just brainstorming, but what about a pond fogger?
-------------------- In an entheogen influenced moment of clarity I came to understand that reality manifests as a dream from the collective subconscious minds of all conscious entities. Nothingness made something because we collectively believe it into being, and physical laws given power by the reinforcement of conscious observation. Creation, destruction, and even time itself are but an aspect of ourselves and we of them. Life and death, simply illusions we face from a limited grasp of our own existence. We are one, all is eternal.
