Caution: Highly technical paper on the psychology of OBEs.

Don;t have time to read that article, but here's a simple fractionating method:

--------------------
:bunny::bunnyhug:
All this time I've loved you
And never known your face
All this time I've missed you
And searched this human race
Here is true peace
Here my heart knows calm
Safe in your soul
Bathed in your sighs

well it did at least admit that OBE type people have an unique predisposition to being able to visualize bodies in 3-d and rotate them more efficiently than a control group of people who claimed not to have ever had OBE's.

most of what they imagined prior to testing was irrelevant, i.e. the depersonalization and derealization, were found not to be good predispositions for OBE, and experiences were not related to the overall positive nature of OBE events.

This bespeaks more of neural wiring than any ob(j)e-ctive experience.

well they suggest neural network(ing) but that is purely speculation, the predisposition could be anything, even just associative predilection to rotated figures because of experiences in the past (e.g. watching brothers and sisters sleeping from different vantage points, or doing gymnastics in school and watching other kids go through the motions. both being reflexive, i.e. tasks performed and observed - so it is easy to exchange positions (mentally))
