    #19596578 - 02/20/14 08:02 PM (10 years, 4 months ago)

Ok well I'm not sure how you're gonna get enough from one coconut, not a coconut expert tho so don't quote me.
Well when it comes to coco coir it's been established that pasteurization and sterilization are both ok. Either method will work.

We have big cocos here jaja.
But thanks Ive got it pasturizing now 150 for an hour hour half
I was thinking I would cut it up fairly small and loosely place it over the sub
I decided to case this particular sub because tje tub its in has no lid and the saran wrap is kind of a pain so I was hoping this would be a good way to retain mostuire.
Thanks as always for the great help.

wait , wait,

Fuck that fiber from the coconut  on the ground ,

firendly fuck it, get yourself some normal coco coir or peat moss and verm  ,

caisng is the last step you don't want to risk it ,

and answering to your question  , pasteurizing is better for two reasons:

cheaper
friendly bacteria. ( actinomatocitos in spanish , don't know it in english )

look into this and proceed

let us know hot it went

cheers!

Ok but what is normal coconut coir?

i meant the block of coco coir available at garden stores

it's better than peat moss cuase of the trich living in the little cranches of the peat moss , coco coir is very contams resistance
