Psychedelic music to trip to

I am just interested in anyone who has my taste in music and what other CDs they can recommend.
Here is my list.
Piper at the gates of dawn: Pink Floyd. Pink Floyds first album with Barrett at the helm. Childlike lyrics with otherworldly music. Fantastic.
Saucerful of Secrets: Pink Floyd. Pink Floyds second album. Barrett has little input however as Rodger Waters is trying to emulate Syd it still has that fantastic music though prob not as together on the Lyrical side. You can also hear slight prog undertones. Still Fantastic.
Relics: Pink Floyds early days collection. Some excellent songs in the vain of Piper. Syd is here in all his tripped out childlike glory. One of the Best.
In Search of Space. Hawkwinds second album. I cant stand anything by Hawkwind after this album. These are songs which Hawkwind were playing at festivals during the late 60's. Absolute tripped out heaven.
SF Sorrow: Pretty Things. This CD is a gem. I rate it above Sgt Peppers. On very similar lines but has a heavier sound and far deeper. Brillant.
Cauldron: Fifty Foot Hose. What can I say about this CD. One of the best Psychedelic bands Ive ever heard from the States. The music is utterly fantastic and the singers voice, well think Jefferson Airplane WHITE RABBIT and and some.
United States of Americe: United States of America. Their only album and an absolute classic. Lyrics on the darker side of American middle class life yet sang in an upbeat way. The music is again supberb yet really hard to describe. Very ahead of its time.
HP Lovecraft:HP Lovecraft Double CD. The best West Coast sound Ive heard full stop. The second cd goes well into more heavy lysergic inspried music. A couple of dud tracks but buy it.
Soft Machine Vol 1&2: Soft Machine. This group gigged with Floyd in the Sixties at the famous UFO club. Nothing much sounds like these. Robert Wyatts voice is brillant the music is psychedelic jazz(though more psychedelic). All members were heavily jazz influnced. In fact they were all really jazz muscians. The group went downhill once Wyatt left and become a rather boring Jazz/rock outfit. A must Buy.
Caravan: Caravan: Yeah shit name but this album is again classic psych. A real earthy wispy like atmoshere. In similar lines to Soft Machine. This group then went pure prog and shit. However this Album is a classic.
Camembert Electrique,Flying Teapot,Angels Egg: GONG. What a group David Allen at the helm and what a tripped out man he is! This music is pure Mushroom pixie music. They are still going and as tripped out as ever. If you like your mushies buy these.
Silver Apples: Silver ApplesDouble CD. The most bizzare sound Ive ever heard. Well ahead of their time or just mad Ive no Idea. Some wierd boomong bass sound with tripped out lyrucs over the top. Odd yet some will love it.
Finally a quick list of others.
Revolver,Sgt Peppers: The Beatles Safe as Milk: Captain Beefheart. Forever Changes: Love. very good indeed. Hawkwind:Hawkwind Music in a dolls house: Family Trip thru hell: CA Quintet Crazy World of Arthur Brown: Crazy World of Arthur Brown

I love how terence Mckenan sings the "Gnome" song from Pink Floyd - Piper at the Gates of Dawn. And shpongle samples him doing it. See, it all comes back together in the end .
Both Shpongle CD's, and the third will undoubtedly be great Songs by Yes are great tripping Death Cab for Cutie souds like liquid aural euphoria.
Songs I didn't like tripping
Pink Floyd - Atom Heart Mother Suite - I love this song, sober or stoned I think its a brilliant, overlooked masterpiece. On shrooms, it was "shark attack music" and I wanted it turned off immediately
Queen - Again, one of my favorite bands, IMHO one of the best rock and roll bands. On shrooms they sounded ridiculous, and irritating. Turned em off.
Metallica - "dude what are you trying to do to me?? Turn this shit off now!!"

If you like The Orb (god I used to play it to death 12 years ago when I used to do an awful lot of LSD) then IMHO The Ishness by Future Sound of London takes its crown easily. Its nothing like any of there previous stuff but it is so original/earthy and for LSD music prob the best CD/Album released in decades.
Im telling you go out and buy it ASAP you WILL not be disappointed.

Download "blue calx". When that bass hits, it feels soooooo good. It comes every once in a while, and you anticipate the next bass hit. It just takes you to another level.
Bucephalis Bouncing Ball is another great one. And the Speed Racer remix.

You missed one very good Floyd album - Ummagumma Live. I'm not that fond on the studio CD, but the Live CD just blows me away. It's a must have for most of my trips. Other good albums Tool - Lateralus Mr Bungle - Disco Volante (not for the faint hearted however) Coil - Musick to Play in the Dark Vol 1 & 2 Godspeed You Black Emperor - Lift Yr Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven, and F#A# Deftones - White Pony (it may not be pyschedelic by genre, but it goes down very well on trips) Gorillaz - Self titled Led Zeppelin - III Chemical Brothers - Surrender Devin Townsend - Terria Earthtone 9 - arc'tan'gent (metal, but rather intelligent/spiritual focused metal... a surprising favourite for mushrooms) Opeth - Orchid (again, metal, but the melodies on this album are almost like a blissed out, heavier version of Floyd) Stone Temple Pilots - Purple Acid Mothers Temple - Pataphysical Freak Out MU!! (but I don't know if I could handle this tripping - although it's VERY psychedelic, it can get a bit intense/scary) Shalabi Effect - Self Titled, and The Trial of St Orange Queens of the Stone Age - Rated R (stoner rock, but I can imagine it'd work well with the pyschedelic experience) Shulman - Soundscapes and Modern Tales (similar vein of music as Shpongle, but entirely the same as their work. some parts sound Shpongle-ish, but most of it is rather original)
Not mostly pyschedelic music, but those are my picks for tripping music. And just because it's not labelled as pyschedelic, doesn't mean it isn't good for tripping

I can't believe noone has posted this yet. But hands down, the absolute best album for tripping is The Flaming Lips'Zaireeka. It is a four disc set and all four CDs are to be played at once in different stereos, arranged cardinally in the room. You have no idea how intense this is.
