OregonBlueShroom said: Maybe i just got lucky with the oysters but they were in good condition so I ate them Its been snowy and icy here alot lately so i was surprised to see them but the rain must have brought them alive. There was a ton of polypores everywhere so reishi seems likely to be around.
Heres some pics, there off topic to the thread but this post is already off topic

nice! howre you going to prepare both your oysters and reishi?
oysters were cooked with rild rice and eaten with veggies and chicken. that was my dinner tonight
ill dehydrate the reishi eventually then slice it up and make a double extract with it.
im a foody and would very much appreciate more detail than that! full recipe type detail! im always looking for new recipes, esp those with wild mushrooms.
i made a wild mushroom risotto the other week with oysters i grew, and dehydrated king bolete (the first ive ever had. i reconstituted them with wine, and used the mushroom wine in the risotto as well during the slow addition of liquid stage. also i used some of the mushroom wine to cook my wild caught cod in a traditional roman eel recipe that calls for minced anchovie, bay leaf, red pepper flakes, and capers. they were both helllllllllla good
the more recipes i learn for wild mushrooms the happier ill be. plus i dont want to make any dire mistakes like rev0kadavur and soak my oysters in lemon juice for 45 mins before cooking em. they came out hella sour!

Im not sure if its still set to public or not.. I linked everyone to it for the Kayaking trip stuff, the first year... its where I hosted all the maps and tide charts.
Someday I am going to upload all my all myspace stuff to facepoop... just havent had time, its not high on my list of priorities.. higher on the list is compiling all the old video footage onto a disk, so we can have a screening at Ramen... have a reunion kinda thing.
Those pictures were no more half naked than most beaches... most of which were during my more exciting days.. if J.A.S. wasn't so reserved things would still be that way.. instead, i grow fat with discontent...

lol. tell him youre trying to get your huss on! i was looking at discount sex toy type stuff on ebay for like 3 hours today instead of doing hw. so stoked to move in with R soon! some of the stuff was pretty legit and sells at like good vibrations or costume stores for 7x as much or more. some of it i was sketched out by cos it didnt list the materials it was made from and is made in China (who makes stuff with horrible materials as much as the US does).
R and I deleted our facepoops. feels good to be free man.

I would also like to know what URL you're talking about so I know which sites to stay away from, I'm new to this whole "internet" thing.

i love that aphid pic! how did you take that photo?
you might light this article http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2014/02/10/140210fa_fact_aviv?currentPage=all
hayes came to speak for my class a week or so back. it was great! he's obsessed with frogs and this pesticide used in US agriculture is so toxic is has the ability to sterilize frogs and make them change sex. Atrazine also destroys the male genitalia of fish, birds, reptiles, and mammals. they're finding too that it effects humans, things like micropenis and your urethra coming out the bottom middle of your shaft.
he showed this slide of this classified document they had to turn over to the court, their agenda included "discredit hayes"
i thought this might be right up your alley as atrazine becomes airborne and contaminates water supplies and is one of the biggest contributors to amphibian genocide in the US. they're going the way of the do-do to support the subsidized corn agricultural industry. its pretty shitty : /

The ones i seen in arizona have lighter skin tones, are usually smaller and have a tad shade of pink on their skins. Most of em. in eastern oregon ive seen a few but i dont believe they were diamondback. They were too quick and their markings were squareish not diamond. But i do love rattlesnakes
This one was waiting on my doorstep when i lived a ways north of the valley of the sun.
Named her layla.

word. that diamondback was about 8-9 feet long and stood on it's tail when my shutter clicked. i almost pissed my pants and couldn't snap a picture. i saw it in the middle of the winter...

when i was a kid, we accidentally ran over a rattler pulling into our driveway. my dad thought some asshole kid had thrown a stick in our driveway.
nope. dude was just sun bathing.
we had poison control pick it up before our cats ate it. he was about 3 1/2 feet long

Pesticides are pretty fucked up, there was less damage to agricultural crops from pest species prior to pesticides than there is now. Lot of the predators were killed off...
