 Help! I have spyware on my comp!

Basically, I had to type this post in Notepad because there is a 5 second delay when I try to type something on The Shroomery. Whenever I try to scroll down the page is so choppy, ack I say, ack! I've tried Adaware and SpyBot Search & Destroy but my Internet Explorer is still working really slow. If I completely remove IE from my system and reinstall it again would that work? Do I have to format my hard-drive? Damn it, incidentally this happened when I made two popular posts about The Illuminati, damn it they're on to me lol.

Like automan said, you should get ad-aware. I use it as well, gets the job done.

Thanks for making this thread.
I downloaded the suggested program out of boredom, and boy did I have a lot of spyware! All clean now though.

Id recommend adaware by lavasoft. I run it once a week.

ad-aware is what i use....you'll be amazed at all the shit it finds...I run it around once a week now and it ALWAYS finds something

maybe your problem is not spyware....do a couple of scandisks then defrag your system and make sure your hdd has some room on it....if your hdd gets too full this can cause your pc to slow down a lot....also try running a virus scan just to be sure

 Firebird is my favorite browser - for fans of the internet.
Also, I recommend getting Spyware Blaster. Works great inconjunction with spybot/adaware; it's not a detection/removal tool, but rather a prevention tool. I never, ever get spyware using blaster with updates along with adaware with updates.

It could also be your memory. When I leave my computer on for days, windows gets really slow. You can also download memory managing programs.
Maybe the windows registry is clogged up. You can get registry cleaners, or you can reinstall windows, which works best IMO.
Too lazy to find links for those programs, but they shouldn't be too hard to find.

go to the windows system your using and contact support
tell em whats wrong and you will get a personal technician who will do a step by step diagnostic thru emails,i had IE problems with downloading and they helped me
