Download Hyvrid Stigmata by Dimmu Borgir. Norweigan death metal rules. Yes is fucking awesome too; fucking Roundabout. Whoever mentioned Cacophany, they're cool as hell. Speed Metal Symphony is excellent. As does (in no particular order)... Primus The Grateful Dead Sublime Slayer Floyd Zeppelin Chili Peppers Sabbath J 5 Modest Mouse Metallica Dillinger Converge Monor Threat Bad Religion The Misfits Curl Up and Die The Replacements Husker Du Fugazi The Smiths CS&N(&Y) Neil Young Jimmy Buffett (hell yeah) Jethro Tull The Beatels The Velvet Underground Joy Division The Bosstones The Ramones Bob Dylan The Pogues KMFDM Dead Kennedy's Yes Dick Dale (I guess, he's not a band, but he's here anyways) Rush Dream Theater
I'm blanking on any more... There's a lot of good music out there though...

In no specific order, I listen to all of these bands everyday basically over and over, I love them. I couldn't even give a top 3 or 5 or whatever heh. Smahing Pumpkins Nine Inch Nails Aphex Twin Mum Bjork Sigur Ros The Cure Zwan Modest Mouse Pink Floyd David Bowie The Beatles Bauhaus Beck Depeche Mode Hooverphonic Ours Placebo Radiohead Shpongle Sneaker Pimps Vast Zoe Keating Rasputina And of course there is so much more... but oh well, usually if another band is closely associated with these bands, I listen to them too. And there is just so much. I listen to quite a bit of harold budd and brian eno, and all that kind of jazz, as well as classical, trance, house, and various forms of IDM and experimental.

I love all kinds of Music so I always hate putting myself on one of these lists because I have so many styles/bands that I listen to. I like everything from Dizzy Gilespe to Orgy sooo....
Smashing Pumpkins (All time fav) Tool The Cure White Stripes Ween A Perfect Circle The Smiths Bauhaus Tori Amos Radiohead Pink Floyd Bjork
Those are some of the more "recent" bands. By recent I mean stuff that isn't classic rock like the Dead or Led Z.
I like to think that I can find something good about most music though.
Try and look on the bright side I suppose.

The Beatles Brand New Alkaline Trio (before their new cd) Lagwagon Sublime Bob Dylan Bob Marley
-------------------- making you want to be a better person since 2008. Then its usually all laughs and good times from there.
