I own one steer and regularly feed what is called "12% sweet feed". This is a whole grain sweet feed (has molasses added) that is 12% protein and assorted essential minerals such as copper, zinc, etc. Nowhere is it labeled that a fungicide is present, and I'm sure that any number of ethical groups would have a field day if they found out the Government was covertly poisoning cattle feed. Not that we haven't seen many examples of that before, but I'm not going there. BTW, if I let the bag sit for even a short period of time in a humid environment it grows blue mold like wildfire, so I'm positive there are NO fungicides/bacteriocides present. Also, I've got plenty of fungii in my fields, unfortunately none pc-yet that is
When I finally buy a pressure cooker, I'm going to try and make up a new Tek with this sweet feed. If it works, I'll post a grow log. Right now I'm stuck with PF tek and boiling for sterilization and I know the grains need to be pc'd.
